Like I said before....the difference in this series is burying the puck when you have a chance. The Pete's bury it while London doesn’t. The Knights are donzo.

Not generating much speed with the flip ups and other quick ups that usually work. Peterborough is good defensively and no interference calls in the hockey playoffs help too. Have to figure out another way to get some chances. Too much blown coverage on D, again, too.
Team is just not good enough to beat peterborough. Might be a long time before we are back here.

Nope. Not Bowen's fault... No matter what the replay shows. Goalie of the future.
It’s okay, enjoy this for what it is. It was gravy that we even got here in the first place. We weren’t even supposed to be in the Finals.
I don’t wanna rehash this, but I still don’t think Bowen is the goalie of the future everyone thinks he is. When you play in a generally (defensively system) that can over inflate your numbers. Shots against are on the outside, everything is visible etc.
But one person I do want more out of but I don’t think we will is George Diaco. It’s frustrating when he can’t fight for the puck and gets pushed off relatively easily. He doesn’t have the space he normally does in the regular season.

This team this year was built from the back out. Excellent goaltending, solid D and then scoring by committee (emphasized by no 30 goal scorers). When you remove the pillar of this structure, it crumbles. Team can’t play with confidence or take chances because any (and I mean ANY) shot can go in against you. If junior hockey is just about development then it’s been a great year. But it would be nice to add a title while doing it. Brochu still hurt? What could have been.

Nevermind some of the initial saves not being made, the rebound control is non-existent. Hunter is a smart hockey man, if “dummies” like us can see it I’m sure he will find a goalie for next year not hoping to see something that isn’t there.
