Both goalies were weak last night. Heck 2nd game, Simpson lets one in from centre line! This is not a goaltending series. Simpson can be very good or just average. London hits open net and its 3 nothing and game over. Their kids, emotions and tides turn at this stage. Thats why both teams went and got Hamilton players. 7 games

How am I making fun of Bowen? And better yet, you can meet me in person :)

If the Knights pull it out it will be because Bowen played decent the way we’ve seen. He won’t steal the series.
I am not embarrassing any junior players of the London Knights hockey club on social media while naming names, but you do, see the difference.

I moved and if you want to come to Notre-Dame-Du-Nord dans la belle Province du Quebec, ya sure I'll meet you face to face

This series can still be had, the Knights have outplayed the Petes 8 out of 9 periods and are down 2-1 in the series. Having watched the Petes in the NB and Ottawa series that is their MO.

Bowen is a good goalie but he was totally shit last night. He needs a bounce back game and if we execute in game four it’s a best of three with home advantage back to London.

Gets some rest, roll full four lines Wednesday and let Federkow lose to pound the Petes D.

Go Knights Go!!!!

How bout this O’Rielly kid? He’s a great skater who skates with his head up at a young age, he looks like he’s got what it takes for this level. Exciting to see what he brings next year.

Do you really think anything said here will help fix the team?
Did you embarrassed "O'Reilly" on social media with negativity or said something positive about the player, I named him too here on my post, noticed the difference?

keys to game 4
1. Tighten up the D
2. Goaltending needs to be stronger
3. Keep the lead
4. Capitalize on the chances we are given

Peterborough wants it more and will do better at the Memorial Cup than will the Knights as the OHL representative.
I'm appreciative that the Knights have done as well as they have with this team. The coaching staff have done an amazing job. A highly entertaining regular season and playoff with plenty of surprises both good and bad. Having a blast watching this and as a 7 game series is designed to do, the better team will move on.

The Petes definitely want it more right now. They looked defeated after 2 on Saturday night but dug deep and took over this series.

The best way to protect your goalie is to be at the other end of the ice shooting on their goalie. If the Petes are getting chances some of their shots will go in. I'm happy the petes are winning but you really can't blame Bowen for all of this. Petes are a highly skilled team that will take advantage of opportunities that they are given. Carry on.

P. S. - sure is fun reading about "factors" on the London thread.

Hey you’re the one that wants to meet me. Just make sure you’ve got some good food, and a warm bed for me, it’s a bit of a drive.
And going forward I’ll use numbers instead of names so my observations don’t upset you. Go Knights go!

I was surprised to read about cops having to surround some London fans at the game last night. Apparently everything turned out fine, but this happens at Petes games sometimes? Rowdy bunch I guess. It’s such a cool looking arena, junior hockey provides so many unique setups.

Watched the game last night. I'm an OLD hockey guy and firmly believe in karma. You guys scored I believe it was
Crane and the group on the ice taunted the Petes fans, Humphrey sticking out his tongue. Next goal Edward scores he also taunts the fans and then points his stick at the Petes players. This stuff is a sign of immaturity, but it does come back and bite you. Your goalie needs to make a save or two. If BArkey and Cowan are better that will be a big help.

The flu is going through the team. Players are sitting out games because of it. Did anyone stop and think maybe Bowen is battling the flu but can't afford to sit?

Agree - OHL needs to nip the fan taunting by players across the league in the butt. London is bad at it in particular but a lot of teams were doing it this year then I've ever seen. All it does is piss off the already rowdy and drunk idiots in the crowd....they don't need to be encouraged by the players.

As for the game....holy goalies....I thought I was watching highlights from my old beer league with those goals..yikes. I still think London's team defense can win them this series. The key will be sticking to that well oiled machine of a game plan that Dale has established as this teams identity and not entertaining Peterborough's like they have been through the two losses. Can't say it hasn't been fun to watch at least!

So, not exactly Zachs finest game, but Simpson had an off night as well. Petes took advantage of some defensive miscues. Hell it went to OT and one of those fluke bounces was the deciding "FACTOR".

Knock off the Wolf Pack mentality. Not very mature, adults attacking a kid or bunch of kids over an effing game.

Last I checked this was still a series.

That's odd. I went with a group of people to the two away games in 2006 for the OHL Chapionship and it was likley the best OHL experience I have ever had in an away arena. The staff were amazing...the fans I met were great. And after the Knights lost we went to the liquor store to drown our sorrows only to fund the doors locked as they were trying to close. But then they saw our jerseys and let us in.

But then again I've only been twice...

How many of you actually expected the Knights to win last night after seeing that the twins would not be playing?

To me, the fact that they took the Petes (in their own barn) to OT after a less than stellar performance on the back end and missing two of their hottest forwards is extremely reassuring for the remainder of the series!

Plus, who knows how many of the other players were dealing with flu-like symptoms, but played through it anyway?

I, for one, still like the Knights chances, just like I did in the Sarnia series after game 4 when many of you began writing them off.

If the Knights can pull one out tomorrow night I like their chances. If they can't, stick a fork in them.
