Not sure if we will win the championship but the team went farther than alot of people expected. However, it's going to take alot to get back to the championship series. We are going on year 2 without our 1st round pick, ( Sammy was niagaras) and we don't have any good goalies.

Anyways it's fair to say bowen was terrible tonight

I actually think London could easily be up 3-0 right now. But I also thought Sarnia could have won last series. Hockey is frustrating.

I used to take these losses a lot harder as a fan. Then I realized I have a life and have no control over this. Onward and upward. Good effort again by the Knights.

Disappointing result. Played a decent road game. OT winner was an unlucky bounce. That one was not on Bowen. Probably deserved a better result but on to game 4. Play similar to tonight and a win should happen.

Fair enough.

5th goal; another unforced error unfortunately.

Games 2 and 3 were very winnable in 60 mins for London.

Not over yet. It’s a lot of 1st and 2nd year players against a veteran team and veteran goalie.

Just a reminder about what happened in December. Some of the comments this playoff are head shakers.
Nah this team is good enough to win. Bowen lost the game in Sarnia and again tonight he was just lost. This was a win with ANYONE else in net. If he bounces back, great. He’s making a habit of this and it’s fundamentals (agility, lack of focus). Frustrating.

I don't even want to hear the Bowen apologists tonight. There is absolutely no defending his play tonight. Yes he's a kid. Yes he's a rookie. Yes he's been put into a non-ideal situation. Yes it's a team game but FFS make 1 GD save when it's needed. Just 1! Out of the 6 goals 4 were weak! Three leads in the game and we can't get a save to preserve the lead? 5 goals on the road and we lose? Not acceptable. This is not a team loss. This loss is solely on 1 player. Like it or not.

I disagree. He totally overplayed the shot and was out of position. If not for his play this game doesn't even get to OT.

Good effort by 18 of the 19 players.

We don't have any good goalies? Are you nuts. Bowen is the future. I believe in this kid. You seem to be forgetting he's a rookie and was brought into very tough situation for a rookie to be in.

I unfortunately agree with @Knights Watcher i really like Bowen but this was bad, we almost got away with it as Simpson was not his usual self either but at least came up with some big saves.

Next one is a must win

Rookie line played really well!
I don't see Simpson laying another egg next game. Bowen? Not sure how he responds. Can't play much worse so nowhere to go but up. Here's hoping the Bowen from Game 1 shows up.

Being a Rookie is no excuse. He played over 1/3 of the games this year so it's not like he was just thrown into the fire. Is he the future? Possibly but he has to start playing consistent. Can't afford 2 out of 4 bad games.

Are you pleased with Bowen's performance tonight? Is he doing what he can to keep his team in the game?
I don't know how many noticed or if any can read nervous body language from first period, must shake the jitters off to be in the game. Lot of players were in the game tonight unfortunately not all of them, without naming names Dale knows who wasn't and what is needed to gain confidence back.

On a positive note, Bowen had arguably his worst game of the postseason, we were missing two of our most talented forwards and we still took the game to OT...on the road!

The Knights are far from done!

Yeah, Knights have been going with 3 lines almost the entire game. 4th line has only had 1 or 2 shifts. I agree with the decision to go with 3 lines. Petes have last change and could take advantage of that inexperienced 4th line.
Team has worked their ass off tonight, great effort with a shorthanded roster. But you win as a team and lose as a team and goaltending is a huge part of a team.
Petes played only three lines, fourth line didnt touch ice. Mind you the all have a total of maybe 10 full games between them. Third line winger, Lefebre was first regular shift game all year on third line. TSN breaks I think will make this a three line series.

Nice balanced post. London should not even be here, objectively speaking.

Some people just don’t get it.

Where are all the criticisms for the unforced mistakes leading up to goals against? Why does the blame always lie at the last man?

For “hockey” people, some of you know f*** all about the sport.

and...cue the buzzards feeding on the carcass....oh they're already here?....my bad...carry on

I can't wait to count the lips on Bowen's ass when we win this
PP31...even you cannot defend this performance by #31, can you? I'll bet you dinner at the Talbot Grill next season that we get blown out next game and lose at home on Friday.

I'm not defending anyone...I'm stating the obvious of how the brethren around here reacts to adversity. Just tug down the skirts...hide the panties...and enjoy hockey we shouldn't even be seeing

The Knights shouldn't have made it this far.....c'mon

and the Talbot Grille is rediculously over priced for sub par food
