It could still happen, but as of 12:45 today a Leonard suspension has not been posted. They are usually pretty quick to have them posted in the playoffs.
Wonder if he has avoided one?
Quick to post and OHL suspensions in the same paragraph is the reason the laugh is an available reaction here. The league office will advise of any potential suspension when they feel like it.

Totally agree, during the regular season they can take a week or more. But I do think in playoffs they are a little more diligent. But as soon as we let our guard down, that's when they will nail us! lol

Alright, for tomorrow’s OHL Draft. I got it right with the Knights drafting Luca Testa (hopefully he still turns out great). Tonight I wanna see the Knights draft Lev Katzin. He is tendered with the Green Bay Gamblers but I think we can get him to commit. Then draft William Moore in the later rounds (maybe with our extra 3rd round pick) to see if he will commit. Obviously he was interested in the OHL by applying for exceptional status but then didn’t get it so he signed on with the USNDTP so he’s only would consider coming if playing for a legit team.

Moore and Hagens could destroy the league.

EDIT: just realized the draft is tomorrow. Rangers are gonna come out fast and physical. Knights need to keep the speed up and stay to the game plan and make good high percentage passes and keep possession. I was in Kitchener for the loss and they made stupid low percentage passes. That created turnovers and trouble for the Knights all game.

They downgraded Leonard’s penalty on the scorers sheet from a match to a major. Suspension probability will drop accordingly
It was called a 5mi. Major Cross Checking and a Game Misconduct for the same on game night. Automatic review by the league for all unaccompanied(or single) 5 minute major penalties by one player, no set suspension for these but can be added if league deemed serious enough

Rule 4.4 – Major Penalties

A major penalty is a five-minute time penalty. Any player assessed a Major penalty will also be assessed a Game Misconduct penalty.

  1. Any player, goaltender or team official who is assessed a Major penalty will also be assessed a Game Misconduct penalty, will be ordered to the dressing room for the remainder of the game and will be reported to the appropriate Member or league for further action. The Coach of the penalized team, through the Captain, will designate any player on the ice at the time of the infraction to serve the penalty.

Gotta feeling the way the 1st went Ktown dies not to go fown a G at all. Both teams just looking not to mistakes. At some point someone will make a play of a D mistake n open it up.
Seems more LKs style.
Kitchener I think needs to play ahead more than LK to be effective and play to their strengths.

Patience

Edit Ok McC as I write changes the post lol.
Jumped on an error. Let's see how Rangers respond

Easy break out n 4th line takes adv. KTown 3 skaters back into the blue ice turning a 2 on 3 rush into a great slot shot opportunity n McC snipes.

Attention to detail. Gotta stand up n take time n space away ( at centre ice, your bluline and the slot) Kitchener got caught backing in to deep.

Kitchener should have a push at some point
Attention to detail, focus, stay on the right side of the puck in all 3 zones.

Edit sweet 2-0. Both during posts.......I'll stop now to help Kitchener out lol

Both goals start in the D zone with good outs... There is a lesson there minor hockey players. Off. Starts with good D in any zone.

That shift by the D #4 for KW on the 3rd Lon. goal speaks volumes. Ya can't get outhustled/outworked 3x in one shift and get away with it.
The GAF meter is empty for some of the Rangers players.
But LK needs to stay on point n focused.

8 shots after 2.......this team is impressive when they buy in, committ n execute their TEAM D game plan. Have been all year. Maybe as good or as close to it as we have seen in a long while.
And it's a 200 ft approach. When they get away from it, they are ordinary.

London in 5 over the Rangers, awesome !!

This London team is going nowhere we've heard at the start of the season, now none of us can find one weak player on this team

Hey someone else was here lol. Had to work late. Couldn't get to my seat
.... well done LK. Well earned.

Kudos to the Rangers players n staff
There wasn't any stupidness once it was decided anfmd TY for that monumental never before sweep of an 8 over a 1 seed!!!!!!!

I wonder what the very few but loud Spitfire sycophant posters ( there is only 2 or 3) feel about " this isn't an ordinary 8th place seed" now? Sorry had to ask but do the factors or excuses now change? .....Biggest upset in the O ever and another factor (excuse) has been eliminated.
