what are you talking about, he jumped into the boards LOL
He did play the hit !

We can clearly see both of Martin's arms starting to move up and bracing for full impact. But Leonard's play was of the most dangerous kind and was fully deserving of the 5 and the game. He had a long look at Martin's back for approximately one full second before the hit. The league don't need these kind of plays from any player of any team, because of no injuries and not a repeat offender it will be up to the league to decide if any suspension is warranted . Personally I say yes for minimum of 2 games:pb:, if just to remind all players the league is still very much on top of these dangerous moves.
- IMHO - Cheers !

Has there been a 5 minute major and game misconduct this post season that didn’t result in at least a one game suspension?

Just asking.

Based on the play, I get the 5 and a game. But helping Leonard’s case is that there was no injury on the play.

As was the case with the Brandt Clarke 5 and a game where there was no injury, I see a one gamer max for Leonard.

Colby Barlow in Round 1 had a 5 and a game with no suspension and George who he hit was injured.

Don't know the answer to your question...I read Josh Brown's article from the Record today, and he seems to think that there "might" be a suspension.
EDIT: yes, the Barlow hit on George, thanks Orange Pylon.

I believe, there are no issues with the commentators being homers. They broadcast one team all year, their hometown team, it is a hometown broadcast. Not like NHL games on SN or TSN that are national coverage.
I agree totally I get a kick out of the folks that scream Homer. The Kitchener guy is a screamer that sort of gets annoying, but without them and Rogers we wouldn't have it on TV so scream away.

Bobber says I nuts on their board for saying the hit Leonard made wasn’t bad. I never said that. I said it was bad but Martin made it worse because he stopped instead of following through to the puck. Pinelli is a dirty prick as his suspension for hitting Peer from Windsor clearly shows. Watch game replay and clearly shows him targeting Denver’s head with his elbow. The stupid prick never learned a thing. Should be suspended again and maybe then it would sink in.

1 more step for both teams to something I never thought I'd see.

London - Sarnia conference finals.
Do you mean you thought Windsor would still be around or the fact the Sting would well pull a "Sting Thing" even with all their talent because it's the playoffs? ;)

You could see Windsor had problems and at the trade deadline they never really addressed it adding up front rather then on the backend or in net? BUT who could see that team only scoring 7 goals and the Rangers totally dominating them in 4 straight?

Oh well if we both take the last step and face each other it should be a great series. I think your Goalie could be the key in a Sarnia win .... or a Sarnia loss!
Cheers .....

More so that sarnia would pull a Sarnia haha. And partly cause I figured we'd be playing right now. Good on Windsor to make it an even bigger series between us :)

This has to be fake news!!!!!
I know I saw it (on tv) read it in the summary but it can't be true. Knight injured on a 5min major and no suspension. NEVER!!!!!
The Shadow OHL run by LK must be playing some kinda super elite chess. They know the masses are on to them and......

My type of player. If you asked him to go take a bite out of the goalpost on his next shift his only question would be

"Which One Coach?"
I agree. All heart and very loyal. They had a chance to move him at the trade deadline to somewhere he would have gotten more ice time but he told the team he would like to stick around even though he knew his icetime would be limited.
Now that's character right there.

Dam right. I think he is a lunch pail work work guy. I really think he exemplifies what this team is all about. Humphrey and Winterton fit in and bought in and everyone plays hard. I really like this bunch.

Game day. Really hoping they can end this tonight.
No need to get caught up in chirping. Just play.
I'd keep the pumpkin on a swivel as I think a few Rangers will look to be taking a shot if they get down ( not a dig as we got a couple players who would also )

It could still happen, but as of 12:45 today a Leonard suspension has not been posted. They are usually pretty quick to have them posted in the playoffs.
Wonder if he has avoided one?
