Keys to closing out the series on Thursday?
Score more goals than Owen Sound!

Seriously though, just need to keep doing what they have been doing. Play a good hard physical game, use their speed to limit Owen Sound's time with the puck and stay disciplined. Knights have owned the series at 5 on 5, but the Attack PP has been good and kept them in games 2 & 3.

Per OHL Rule Book...

25.2 Infractions - When Goalkeeper is On the Ice - A goal will be awarded when an attacking player, with an imminent scoring opportunity, is prevented from scoring, as a result of a defending player or goalkeeper displacing the goal post either deliberately or accidently.

Kinda sucks. I would think a penalty should be called myself. I get the rule for a breakaway though.
At announcement of the goal by public address announcer says "the puck crossed the line before net was off its moorings" , beside it was Buckley who dislodged the net with a lite touch from Mayich (not a push) . No way did the puck entered the net before the whistle is blown or the net is off it's moorings, and also goal was waved off. I don't know what puck they saw in the net before but it sure wasn't the playing puck. This Rule 25'2 is a good rule but does not apply to this allowed goal at all. IMHO

I watched the reply, but didn't listen to what they said.
But they do go by the continuation rule now, if the net comes off and if the puck crosses the line where the net would have been, all in a continuous play. The goal will count.
However, after watching the reply. It looked like the net was way off, the puck was stopped sitting on the ice and a guy pulled it out of a pile then put it in, way after the net was off. Not in a continuous play.

So to me, seems very odd that the goal was allowed.

Totally agree, far too questionable. I dont see how it was allowed.

Not if the whistle is blown as the net is dislodging, the play is dead at that moment. You can hear it on live play as well as watching the refs blowing his whistle behind the net, when that happens everyone stopped playing, except for Oshawa pushing on. I don't mind Oshawa taking out Ottawa but it must be done fair and square.

Bowen’s been overrated probably because of his W/L record. Not that important. He’s shown positives but he has a ways to go.

Each of the last three decades prior to the 20’s, London’s been reverse swept or almost reverse swept. If any fan base should be scared to mess with anything, it should be this one. Go with your best.

If George is out, I would imagine we see Federkow draw in up front for 4 full lines. Then go with what they finished out last night with on D.

I believe it was this;

Mailloux - MacKinnon
Edward - Bonk
Leonard - Dickinson
Good to have 8 D on the roster. Never want to see a 2014 repeat again. Depth is important even on lower roster spots.

No supplementary discipline
So much inconsistantcy from the league on this front.
Looks like Barlow got the Brandt Clarke treatment. Both of those guys infractions were worse then the Pinelli hit but you know the names gotta play.
The Dillingham suspension when compared seems even more excessive ( or Clarke and Barlow not enough ) point being they need to choose a lane and not based on who committed the offense.

A quick look at next years overage possibilities . MCcue,Winterton,Humprey,Federkow,Mailloux,Mackinnon . Del Monte also on list but rumors are hes not a possiblity.

Mailloux and Winterton might stick with pro team?

Then it would be MCcue, Humprey and Mackinnon.

OReilly,Dickenson and Nicholl are 2006's here for another 3 years.

Another two years of Barkey and Cowan..how much better will they get? Cheers!
