BEFORE PEOPLE START TO LOSE THEIR COLLECTIVE MINDS.....THE BARLOW HIT ON GEORGE IS DIFFERENT. Keep your pants on, don't get your panties in a knot.

Keep Calm and Hockey On.

Yes different.. it was a bad hit 100% it was a hit from behind and he deserved to be ejected.. however the player got up and skated away fine.. That being said the hit on Sedley resulted in an injury and was a bit of a blind side in my opinion… maybe not suspension worthy but likely coulda had some kind of penalty called but thats just my opinion.. nothing came of it so we move on.. Think the Attack are in tough now with out Barlow for at minimum this game but likely should be atleast the next one as well.. The only upside for Owen Sound is the Attack played a few games at the end of the season without him and found other ways to score so maybe they will be forced to do it if they want to make any kind of series.

Isaiah George hasn't been back since the Barlow hit.

Knights are fortunate to end the second period tied 2-2 …. OS was the better team in the last 10 minutes of 2nd period…. they had a lot of hustle …. Knights have to have a better third period……

Like I said at the end of the season... Special teams are going to be the death of us. PK is not good and PP is horrible.

The Knights are very fortunate to be tied after two in this game, they are not playing well at all. Got to match OS's push or it'll be lights out very quick, only Brochu keeps them close. OS are beating Knights defense to prevent icing half the time. They are playing too fancy for my liking in this game, pucks are not reaching the net, got to get back to basics and start picking up the pace or they'll go home a losing team IMHO

All the more reason I cant see Barlow in game 4

Barlow has been trying to play a fiesty game this series. Kudos.
Hot he got pissed off just previous and took a shot at George whom seemed to be under his skin earlier. Emotion got away from their best player.
( not judging the call, 2, 5 , extra game.....whatever) just saying he was frustrated.
Hopefully George is all good.

I think they picked it up to support their C. They got some solid pieces and won't roll over.
Stay the course and all should work out for LK.

Ariel, we won!
Both Attack goals came on the PP...Knights D continues to impress at even strength limiting OS's offensive opportunities. PK needs work.
Barlow's hit on George could have him watching from the stands in game 4. Hope it's nothing serious and George will be in the lineup on Thursday.
OT all London...finish them off Thursday night.

Hitting from behind can cause real serious injuries, even with the head up he can't see the hit coming. I thought if Barlow would have rapped both arms around George to take him to board he might not have been penalised, I didn't think the hit was extremely hard. What the refs saw and and all of us is Barlow place one hand and one arm to the back of George's helmet and basically drove his head on the pane of glass, that's a head-check. It's not only the concusion to worry about it's also neck muscle and nerves can get dammage as well. That was not one of his best collection of hits from Barlow. The Knights did come back for the push in third and overtime - 3-0 series lead

Humphrey with 2 playoff goals is outscoring million dollar man from Windsor with his only one score while Winterton with a goal and two assists ties the million dollar man with 3 total points. Double checkmarks for Mark, n'es-ce pas!

Knights pretty much owned the 3rd and the OT. We just didn't have the legs tonite like the first 2 games. How many times did we let the Attack defense stand behind their goal and set up? It was weird we almost gave that one away as we knew they were shorthanded big time on the backend? Hey a win is a win one more to go and then potentially the RANGERS come to town? Who would have thunk that?

Brochu for game 4? Or go with Bowen to get him some playoff experience and get him going?

Why would you even think about changing what has worked pretty well.. And yes I am an Attack fan but in my opinion I wouldnt change a thing unless he gets hurt or has a bad start to a game.. he is one of the best if not the absolute best in the league and he should be between the pipes.. I get Bowen is great as well but he will get his games and get his chances. If anything give Brochu a tight leash in game 4 and if Owen Sound gets 3 quick ones you give the kid a shot to keep you in the game which will be the experience he wants and needs, then you decide who starts game 5. Realistically London has a longer playoff ahead then OS does by all likely hood and he will be called upon at some point almost certainly.

Only scenario I can think of for playing Bowen (with a healthy Brochu available) would be if the Knights have a sizeable lead late in the game, and Brochu is pulled to avoid the risk of injury. I've seen Hunter do this on a few occasions especially if the opponent is taking liberties.

Per OHL Rule Book...

25.2 Infractions - When Goalkeeper is On the Ice - A goal will be awarded when an attacking player, with an imminent scoring opportunity, is prevented from scoring, as a result of a defending player or goalkeeper displacing the goal post either deliberately or accidently.

Kinda sucks. I would think a penalty should be called myself. I get the rule for a breakaway though.

That's crazy ! And the league are telling us "We check play reviews to get it right". Hello !!!
Well, it worked in our favour last night. But I get it, I remember the old days when Refs would call the game, and sometimes pay for it in the parking lot. :eek3:
