Regarding the buy back of suspensions, depends on the infraction doesn't it? The automatic ones like second fight on the same stoppage could be but infractions reviewed and assessed by the league like slew footing could not.

So....do the Knights go all in tonight?

If I'm the head coach....I treat it like a playoff game and I start Brochu. The Knights (and Brochu, in particular) need to end the season on a high (for confidence reasons), and you can't deny that Kitchener has been the hotter team between themselves and Owen Sound....and they've played Windsor tougher than OS has, as well!

Get the win tonight....hope OS wins....beat OS in Round 1, and hope Kitchener can upset Windsor (who should be without Dionicio for 5 games).

This scenario would also delay a Sarnia matchup until round 3.

We'll see what the Hunters have decided once the lineups are posted.

PS. I know some of you will say it doesn't matter who you play....but the fact is, London has been in a funk for weeks now, and I think they still need a little time to get out of it and go back to playing the way they can!

As a coach you don't want to give anything for your playoffs opponent to work on. I'd rest George and Mailloux go with six or drop one forward back if you have to and of course dress Junior Bs. They did extremely well last night, don't always have to show up on the scoreboard to do well. Go with the young ones once again, why not, and turn them loose again tonight

I'd switch Gazizov and McCue,
and have Crane centre the 3rd line (Sim, McCue).

I know it'll never happen, but I'd also consider switching Julien and Crane...just think Julien has been better (definitely works harder).

Congrats to the Knights on a pretty darn good season. I'm not sure anyone truly would have believed in September that this team would have finished second overall in the West and were right in it until the final weekend for top spot.
Owen Sound scares me a bit they always seem to be a real PITA when they play the Knights over the years? Fingers crossed we have our strength (Defense and Goaltending) back for Round 1. Go KNIGHTS Go ......

If anyone asked me at the beginning of the season where I figured London to place (for the record nobody did), I would have responded, a solid 6th place. So this is all cherry cheescake with a chocolate eclaire on top.

As to favourites in the West, Sarnia has a slight advantage and I would give Windsor and London at even odds. Its gonna be fun.

Hold onto your hats. As much as I want to not face Kitchener and have the Rangers take a chunk out of Windsor, OS is no joke as well.

Key to the series for me: LDN needs to stay out of the penalty box. OS looks to have a more dangerous PP, and London’s PK and PP look pedestrian right now.

Prediction: LDN wins in 6 games.

OS fan here… Our PP is outrageous.. unless they find some magic juice in the post season it shouldnt be much of an issue I believe its bottom 5 in the league in the regular season.

Just checked.. Overall ranked 17th on the pp… 20th on the road and 8th at home for some crazy reason..

Special teams has been one of our weaknesses too. I'd rather play 4 on 4 than have a PP...no joke.
Hunter will have a designated checking line, and my guess is that it will be Crane's line... at least that's how Crane's role has been described. So Barlow will see a lot of his line.
OS no slouch. Tough matchup.
