LOL say hello to first round exit this team has imploded since the deadline Mark made the wrong call! Should have went all in or went full sell but neither happen so the knights will be left holding the bag in their hand AGAIN 💀
Not sure I would agree with "imploded". They were 6W-4L, 8W-2L and 3W-7L in the first 10, second 10 and third 10 games after the trade deadline including last night. Overall 17W-13L. (I have counted a SO or OT win as a win and SO or OT loss as a loss). It's really been the last 10 games where they have definitely underperformed as they were 14W-6L their first 20 games after the deadline. It seems something has changed with the team chemistry these last 10 games. They seem tighter in their own end, overplaying in the offensive zone, lack of discipline and average goaltending.

As far as last night's game, London was very sloppy in their own end in the first period, some lack of discipline cost them two goals and that shorty by Windsor hurt. Windsor's goaltender outplayed ours and Windsor's talent showed through. The Knights pushed back late in the second but I was really surprised to see them come out trapping in the third! They had the momentum, needed a W to preserve their shot at first in the confernece and they are trapping down two ... why ?! to preserve a two goal deficit and pull the goalie with 5 minutes left to try to tie it up?! That's coaching and I can't blame the players there.

I think the Knights are far more effective using their team speed to pressure the other team's defence. I scratch my head as to why they don't use it !

I think they will get by the first round but unless they get some mojo back that's as far as they go. Let's hope they can grab onto that chemistry again.

I think the thing I've been most surprised with over the past few weeks is how this team has forgotten how to play solid defense. They were so good mid-season, yet since then their D-zone coverage has been atrocious.

Their stupid and untimely penalties don't surprise me, they've been doing it all year without consequence, but lately, against these high-powered offenses, it has cost them big time. Perhaps Dale should have been benching players earlier on in the season. Hopefully the benching of Cowan and McCue will get the message across in time for Round 1.

Also, goaltending has not been as good as we'd hoped...hopefully one of the two netminders will step up before it's too late.

I still think they'll get it together in time for a 1st round victory.....but man.....Sarnia will be tough. Everything's gonna have to be corrected for us to have a chance at that one.

Also, I agree with others on here....can we lose the freaking trap and just put pressure on the other team's D for a full 60 minutes?!

Good. Just cruise tonight. Althou not confident this team challenges for a west title may as well rest up the Fs n game plan next week.

Windsor is bringing pretty much a full lineup tonight. Save your time from a likely 8-2 loss.

Good on them IF they feel the need to do so.
Maybe just not used to a full arena so don't wanna disappoint the fans who finally filled the building;)
If I'm Windsor I rest a couple key bodies up front.

FYI... Doesn't matter who the first round opponent is, the balance of the schedule is Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday on the road and the Friday/Tuesday at home

Dionicio embarrassed, then flips the puck into the stands. Spits announcers suggesting that will result in a suspension and "the going rate is 5 games". That's possibly mere speculation on their part.
He will get a game and Winndsor can buy it back.

It was the standard years ago when it was getting called more often. I'm trying to remember if the OHL still allows teams to buy back playoff suspensions

Yikes. Goal from center. As a former goalie I feel for Zac. Redeemed himself with that glove save.

Great Game!!!! Totally surprised me !!! It always feels good to beat Windsor in their barn …. sell out crowd and they all went home disappointed….. finish with a win over Kitchener tomorrow to end the regular season……

I thought the Spits pulling Onuska when down by 3 was somewhat bush league. To compound it, they put out their top guns an an attempt to get one of their players to the 50 goal plateau. Glad to see that their effort was futile, but why would their coach risk injury to any of those players, just for the sake of getting one player a single goal ?
