I understand and I hear you Otto and it does make sense as well, unfortunately there is a but. The time to strive for the high possibility is gone, they blew it when they played Barrie and North Bay and they didn't strive for the high spot in those games. Now a new season is about to begin and the new mini training camp is only three games long as the after season will start on the fourth game from now. Time to prepare, but I get what you are saying, two visions is never bad after all. What ever they do I hope it will take them far, it has really been a roler coaster season and I'd hate to see it end short, again. Happy Playoffs season !Always strive to finish as high as possible. Lose tonight then you can rest players, other than that you're going all out every game until first is no longer achievable
The 1987 Detroit Tigers would disagree with youI understand and I hear you Otto and it does make sense as well, unfortunately there is a but. Not sure baseball is as physically demandingThe 1987 Detroit Tigers would disagree with you
i do no think we should count the chickens before they hatch when it comes to round two. We are currently slated to play Guelph in round one who has been a formidable challenger to us this year. After 6 regular season games the season series is at 3-3, and we are 1-3 against them since the trade deadline. They always play us tough and if they can get any kind of goaltending who knows!I've been resigned to 2nd in the conf. for a while. No biggie. Spits were my fav to win conf.reg season pre deadline and definitely post deadline.
Sarnia is the team I think has best shot in POs.
Gotta beat who the schedule in POs puts in front of you. Rd 2, rd 3 who cares when ya play Sarnia, gotta win to move on. I'm not a fan of what ifs, ref whinning, injury excuses, or looking for help.
Beat your opponent n move on. If ya feel to worried about who ya play, when, on what ice........your team probly isn't moving on to the OHL Finals.
LK will be in tough in all 3 rds no matter where the standings finish.
Irrelevant. Each sport is equally demanding for the teams facing each other. Bottom line is, you don't give up when you have a chance to win, because anything can happen. What kind of message does that send to the team? 'Sorry kids, I don't think you have it in you to succeed so we are just going to throw in the towel"Not sure baseball is as physically demanding
Oh no you don't, I want the Rangers and London to line up in first round. LOLi do no think we should count the chickens before they hatch when it comes to round two. That is the thing. The Rangers, Storm and Sting all have had our number since the deadline....the road is going to be a tough and grueling one.Oh no you don't, I want the Rangers and London to line up in first round. LOL
That is not what they are telling kids at this level. Yes all sports do have a mental and physical demands, in hockey come spring time the physical part has pretty much reach it's max.Irrelevant. That's 100% what you are telling kids at this level. You don't give up.That is not what they are telling kids at this level. Yes all sports do have a mental and physical demands, in hockey come spring time the physical part has pretty much reach it's max.
That is exactly why they don't tell kids at this level; "Sorry kids, I don't think you have it in you to succeed so we are just going to throw in the towel". That was coming from your own assumption, wasn't it?That's 100% what you are telling kids at this level. You don't give up.
And yet that's exactly what you are telling them with your approachThat is exactly why they don't tell kids at this level; "Sorry kids, I don't think you have it in you to succeed so we are just going to throw in the towel". That was coming from your own assumption, wasn't it?
Again, assumption! Respect for the kids intelligence is in order hereAnd yet that's exactly what you are telling them with your approach
No assumption. You want to show the kids respect then you show them that you believe in them by not resting until your final position has been settled.Again, assumption! Respect for the kids intelligence is in order here

Tell me, if you're resting players tonight how do you explain that to the players you are resting? And how do you explain it to the rest of the team?
I'm not counting on anything lol. Just not worried about how it shakes out. Play, this weekend, try n win n let the sched take care of itself.i do no think we should count the chickens before they hatch when it comes to round two. No.. I don't think #900 is the goal. He will get it eventually. The goal is to finish first.Do you think Dale's #900 is on his mind maybe.
Alright alright alright I give up, you win, take the whole pot, it's yours! Let's all hope they have a better run this year
