Down 2-0 in the first, but we can certainly compete with them right mark?
Also 2 goals on 8 shots? Sorry brochu but that isn't going to cut it going forward

I though london had a better defense than this .
The 5th windsorvgoal 2 windsor player in front of our goaltender and knight defenseman beside them easy deflection.

I'll gladly accept the 2nd seed overall, going into the playoffs. Unfortunately, timely goal scoring has dried up over the last few weeks, but I can understand that, given that teams have tightened up defensively. This team doesn't have a single player in the top 10, points wise, and Brochu really hasn't performed to his previous standard. It's difficult playing from behind, but that's been the pattern of late.

That said, if this team gets to the 2nd round or beyond, then they've bettered their result from last season. If not, I get to save any money I'd ordinarily spend on the more expensive rounds.

No.. I don't think #900 is the goal. He will get it eventually. The goal is to finish first.

You didn't answer my questions.. if you're sitting players when you still have a shot at first how are you communicating that to them? And how are you communicating that to the rest of the team?
Very simple, by being honest with them, you tell them your plan your reason behind it and why the coaching decided to do it now, a physical tired team is also a mentally tired team. You lose the last game in a regular season nothing happens, you lose a final game of playoffs series, you go home.

It' look like the Knights peaked too early and they need to regain that happy family feeling back, now common two on none against the goalie and the puck barely reached the paint, these are mental errors and they have been getting many of them lately. They have now lost tonight's game and it can also mean a blessing for them "IF" the Knights meet Windsor in the conference final. And if the motivational coach plays his game right he can use today's game to their advantage, not tomorrow's game as that one has no meaning. The door is right open to them now if they play their cards right. In hockey the mental game is equally as important as the physicality and talent of the hockey player, when tired you get the results they have been getting lately. Extra passes, untimely plays, bad angle shots or wide, showing lack of confidence. It only took Windsor first shot on net to set London back from their game plan, "once again".. That's how fragile this team has been lately, they need rest and a good possitive pumped up talk.

Windsor was opportunistic with LK TOs in the first. Jumped on the PP ops early in the 2nd and cruised to the W.
These are things that can be fixed, but will they is the ?
This team can compete but everything needs to go right thru the roster. Little room for error here. Not enough high end talent to have errors.

Getting down early and by a couple most games recently really sets any game plan back once the game is underway.

Dustin McCrank is the best name in the OHL since Brandon Mashinter
Not sure if you were at the game or not, but in the first period a Windsor player flicked the puck to McCrank after an icing, the puck was off line and McCrank kicked his foot out and kicked it to his hands caught it and celebrated with a hilarious look at the Windsor player. It was awesome, great name and one of the best lines in the O.

Played well enough to win goalies let us down tonight. Not to mention Mailloux is atrocious defensively he is lost in his own end.

Nice to see the push back midway through the second though need that effort for all 60.
I don’t think Brochu can be blamed for all 4 he let in, couple really bad defensive lapses and a tip in the slot.

The team only played about 12 minutes of that game, if they played the rest of the game like that 12 mins, they would have won handily. But like a few have mentioned already. Slow Start, Bad penalties and defensive lapses, is the main reason they didn’t win. Could Brochu have been better, 100%. But at least 3 of the 4 on him were tough tough plays for a goalie.

Knights defiantly weren’t ready to play last night ….passes were off …. coughing up the puck …..needless penalties …. BB has to be better ……defence has to be better…..forwards have to put the puck into the net ……if we want to advance past the first round…..doesn’t matter who we play…..if we continue to play like we have in the last 5 games….. it will be a short playoff run …. again…..Windsor are good but not scary good ….
