Gotta love the off-season lol…. Who do you think this years whipping boy will be? Seems every year there’s one player everyone is hard on.
Whoever takes the dumbest penalties. So maybe max if he takes awful penalties at the worst possible times

Moore is with USNDP. Medvedev was the 3rd goalie selected and don’t think he is a Canadian citizen. Arrowsmith does not even a permanent address in this country.
What about Fagen?

Someone awaken the hunters to make moves
They make moves on their own schedule, and not on mine or yours. This happens to be a very busy and critical time for them....getting all the players accommodated for training camp, arranging for prospective billets, school enrolments, etc,. etc.
Making moves, just for the sake of doing so, is NOT in their playbook. Moves are made with deliberation and purpose. This isn't Niagara, but perhaps their style of operation better suits your temperament ?

Questions for a rainy Thursday afternoon…

Why is Fagen wearing Fagen II?
Was he Fagen II in Don Mills?
Why not Fagen Jr ?
Has there ever been another II in hockey?

Inquiring minds want to know….

They mention the scrimmage Saturday night is open to the public but don't mention the other days are. In the past they have been. Anybody know whether we can go Thurs or Fri?

how about Barkey and Avon potentially being teammates on the Phantoms in a couple years?

I would have thought today was the training camp roster announcement day

Why taking so long in London? I have already watched 5 major junior pre-season hockey games in the past 10 days so far. 4 - Foreurs/Huskies games and 1 - Foreurs/Armanda. Don't mater how soon they starts it still does not speed up their development any, best London takes their time and do it right rather to hurry and messing things up..

Happy hockey season everyone!

While I don't know for sure, perhaps the travel of the Quebec league has something to do with it?

Edit: Q teams play anywhere from 6 to 8 preseason games, whereas the OHL plays 4. That's the difference. I prefer the OHL's way of doing things

Yes, exactly Otto ! Playing 8-10 pre-season games with a water down team tends to bring bad team habits in, opposed to only play 4 games with the team your are planning to go with for the season. The OHL way has to be better in my opinion to start a new season

Teams dress an A squad n a watered down squad in the OHL pre season as well ( or at least LK has the past several years) Starters at home, B list on the road.
But ya 8/10 preseason games is way too much, agreed.
