Lynch Syndrome. Know your families cancer history

Once upon a time, this experience was open to community registration, then later just for those who played in the past...then only sponsors....now only Alum and current staff / team? Why write a fluff piece to tell us they're golfing and have it closed to the community that supports the organization? I miss playing this "tourney"...would travel 600kms to play, always got an invite from the organization...made great relationships which are still fostered to this day. It was like yesterday Maata and I were at the bar at Firerock tossing shots back before heading back out for the back 9. Any clue why this has now become a private event....without anyone speculating the logic?
Could be a supply/demand thing. As the years go by more and more alumni want to play. The numbers have to be capped otherwise the day gets too long. At its height we had over 200 golfers at the Perry tournament. Every hole had at least 2 groups teeing off and the par 5s had 3.

I know Dale will experiment, but thoughts on this first line?

Julien-Cowan-Halttunnen

All offence line 2
Gazizov-Barkey-Crane

Energy/checking line
Humphrey-Sim-McCue

Rookie line

Levin-Nicholl-O’Reilly
Not how I'd roll em out but that energy line would be a huge pain in the arse to play against.

Mailloux was suspended indefinitely by the OHL after news of the incident broke and reinstated by January 2022. This past season, he broke out for 25 goals and 53 points patrolling the London Knights blue line and ended up playing in the Memorial Cup. Daily Faceoff’s Steven Ellis recently graded Mailloux, 20, as the Canadiens’ No. 6 prospect, singling out his size (6-foot-3, 212 pounds) and raw offensive ability as his greatest strengths.

Mailloux was virtually invisible during the Memorial Cup.

I like the kid but hopefully in the AHL they can develop and improve his somewhat glaring weakness of playing defense. His size playing pro hockey will not be able to cover up his mistakes like it does in the OHL. Best of Luck Logan, you got this buddy!

If Mailloux had of been without the baggage in the draft I wonder how high he would have gone? Montreal obviously "stole" him where they drafted him but a lot of teams I'm sure had passed on him because he said to as well as the optics which Montreal it seems we're not as concerned about.

Which is ironic as they kinda have the biggest spotlight in Montreal

Remember, the guy that drafted Logan is no longer in Montreal.

Great for Sean. He should fit in and get an education. Mike D’Orazio ended up with a Masters in Business

I feel like McGurn had pro opportunities, but also the education probably trumped that for him
