He’s a well spoken, well rounded and intelligent young man. I’m excited to see what he can do. He could wear the C this year and I know that I wouldn’t doubt him (there are so many good candidates). I expect a massive year from him.

TY for posting. This is important and hopefully players see it.

ive always tried to get this exact message thru to kids on teams i was lucky enough to take part in, and the ones that lived it, by far had more success on and on the off ice than the ones who were above it. #leadership comes in many ways.
It's why I've said for years on here Cs, As mean little in spite of yearly dialogue of who who who.....kids in the room know who the real leaders are. Leaders step up in spite of letters and reap the rewards.

Everyone can be a leader in some way shape or form. But most importantly everyone can be kind.

Tough deal for Sim, sounds like he will be out till at least December.
Was hoping for him to have a bigger role and bigger season!

Agreed! That’s rough.

So now without him that will create more ice for one of the young guys

How many free agents? That is a lot of players attending.
It is but normal. Just building bridges n supporting local kids that want a skate I'd guess. Not many spots open ( 2,3 ) but they usually run 4 squads. Just a chance for some kids to lace em up.

I think you missed minorleaguefan's sarcasm.

It's not unusual for players to commit to attending multiple camps if the timing works out.

Akimov was at London's camp previously as well.
No, I did enjoy the sarcasm :)
I'm just pointing out to tjziel that he is currently at Rangers camp.
Looking decent so far, but as an 05, age is against him.

For whatever reason (weak drafting, less F/A or US conversions or the COVID years) we have not enjoyed the benefits of trading off our excess assets for 2nd to 4th round picks like previous seasons. These picks are what allow us to add at the deadline without sacrificing our core roster development. Of course this also allows us to avoid the dreaded down years like Sarnia, Kitchener, Windsor may be facing this season after an all or nothing (mostly nothing) season.
So with yet again a large attendance of invitee’s do you or any others see potential trade bait at all? This is in my mind what sets Mark apart from all of the rest of his colleagues. Cheers …. “Drop the damn puck already”!

EDIT: it’s actually one of a long list of things that sets him apart from his colleagues! LOL 😆
