Adam Boqvist and Janne Kuokkanen disagreeJoulevi and Bernhardt were last Euros of note and they weren't Russian. Joulevi was a very good defenseman but Bernhardt didnt exactly tear up the league.

Noted. Thanks for the reminder post made in typical Social Media tone.Adam Boqvist and Janne Kuokkanen disagree
It’s between him and MackinnonIs Connor Federkow defensemen going to be one of your overages?
Yes thanks for confirming what I have said on this board. Like any player they will go to main camp and maybe get a preseason game in before being sent down to the OHL.Also heard Haltunnen is all done and will be here in London. It just won't be official until he runs from Sharks camp
Just telling it as it isNoted. Thanks for the reminder post made in typical Social Media tone.
Highly unlikely they add anyone before campWho is the vet forward they are adding before camp?
Actually, I expect the Filip Mesar treatment. He will be sent right down to the OHL after camp and preseason. Halttunen starting in the AHL would be the case for next year. While that sounds nice...Nothing with actually be official until he is sent back. I fully expect him to start with the Barracuda unless he is disappointing in camp.
He really struggled in a lesser men’s league than the AHL last year. So I think they probably see him in London. But of course not official. While that sounds nice...Nothing with actually be official until he is sent back. I fully expect him to start with the Barracuda unless he is disappointing in camp.
You can't really take his LIIGA stats to heart. For starters LIIGA is an extremely defensive league filled with men, and their top teams would beat AHL teams at worst give them all a run for there money. 17 year olds play on the 4th line and play about 5 minutes a night. Unless you physically watched him play it is unfair to base his LIIGA stats to potential struggles.
Joakim Kemell - 2023 Stats
Liiga 43 Games 12 Goals 3 Apples - 15 Point
AHL 14 Games 6 Goals 7 Apples - 13 Points
So he is a PPG player in the AHL as an 18 year old, but was a third liner in LIIGA so comparisons are not fair.
Kemell also put up 23 pts in 39 games the year before so while he had a slump, he previously showed he could handle playing with grown men. Halttunen doesn't have that yet.
