This has been posted on several news website, including TVAnouvelles.

Anyways, she has now said it was a joke.

I doubt he is stupid enough to get involved with her. This could potentially revoke his 'permission' to play in the NHL, and he would immediately loose any kind of sympathy he had left. I would think the Habs management strongly warned him of staying away from that kind of stupidity.

Nevertheless, I am sure she will have achieved her goal of increasing traffic/subscription of .. with that kind of publicity stunt.

He's gonna lose his "permission" because he would be dating someone doing something entirely legal? Doubt it.

He sure can date whoever he wants! That doesn't change that they can also revoke his eligibility.

This is a matter of Mailloux showing real remorse and personal growth before being reinstated into the NHL to avoid the public backlash that his drafting caused.

This is not just about him, but also about the NHL and the Montreal Canadiens supporting a player who has been accused of wrong doing with a girl. He is supposed to be on his 'second chance' and acknowledging that he made a mistake.

If the public opinion would be to sway following such a stupid decision on his part, you can bet Bettman and Molson will throw him under the bus in a second without looking back.

He is on really thin ice (pun intended!)
