Being cleared also means he can play preseason games. Because if he wasn't, I imagine he wouldn't be allowed to play in the preseason. So while I agree that Laval all year would probably be the best scenario. At least we can watch him play some games, even if they're preseason games.

It’s exciting to get that absurd shot he has closer to the Habs.

But the fact we got Guhle, Hutson, Reinbacher and Engstrom along with a couple others; there’s going to be a lot less pressure on him. I was going to post something completely similar btw, in that I consider our future on D to be ridiculously stacked (if they all hit But even if just 2-3 hit, it's major)
But I look at the future core D and consider it stacked even WITHOUT Mailloux in the mix lol with Guhle, Hutson, Reinbacher, Engstrom and to a certain degree Barron

If this kid Mailloux somehow becomes anything remotely close to a Brent Burns I mean, holy hell will our D be the envy of the league, it would be a complete bonus.
I mean GMs are still fuming about missing out on just Xhekaj lol and if all goes well D core wise then it would mean Arber is a bottom pair D for us lol
