Logan may st

Logan may still be working on his game in the AHL when Reinbacher comes over in a year.

It's more about how it looks in 3+ years. All of the guys we have on D are age 18-22 range. They will mature/develop together for the most part. We won't see the true potential until all are 23+. So we are looking at a 3-5 year span of more rebuild/transition and during that time, we can evaluate the guys we have on D and also add to Goalie/Forward depth.

I really like Mailloux with Guhle. The pairings do appear to fit as we look at it today anyways. I think Enstrom is going to surprise as well.

Guhle / Mailloux
Hutson / Reinbacher
Xhekaj / Barron
Engstrom / Harris

I have Matheson in Hutson's place until 5'9 Hutson shows he can defend at the NHL level. If Hutson can't, I still think he can be a star as a PP specialist and bottom six winger...

Matheson - Reinbacher
Guhle - Mailloux
Xhekaj - Barron
Harris - Engstrom

Enough is enough. They have several 2018 WJC members earning millions who did much worse.

This may have been done at the Habs' request. It avoids Mailloux saying anything that could jeopardize his interview with the league.

The Canadiens asked the league to meet with Mailloux (because they were already aware the league needed to meet him and decide if they give him the green light. So the Habs asked the league to meet with Logan, since he will be turning pro. He might start in Laval, but if he does get the green light, he can get called up.

As for not speaking to the media, it makes sense since he will surely be swarmed with questions about that and he's better off not talking than talking and answering a question the wrong way or it gets misinterpreted.

The NHL won't suspend him, the OHL already handed out a suspension.

For those who actively follow him, where is he in terms of his development? Is he close to making the Canadiens? What type of player comparison are we looking at in terms of play style (not necessarily that he'll hit that level but just style of play)?
He had an awesome year in London. I know he is heading to AHL but I think he would be better off in OHL another year to work on his defense and play a ton of minutes and games. He has only played a 100 games in Junior because of Covid , shoulder injury and his suspension .
