Keefe plays Murray in the post season -> Murray will underperform -> Keefe should be fired.

Woll is better than Murray.

Playing your best team should be the coach's responsibility.

The thing some people just dont understand or just dont even know... coach dont choosing his line up everytime...

Guy Boucher talked yesterday in podcast about his own experience and about expensive he heard with other coach... and that can of as far than head coach who dont have any kind of control of the team and just being a puppet. Im not telling its the case with keefe but one thing is sure, Keefe is not the only guy to make change on line up..

An easy exemple when leafs tried every young player like Mcmann, steeves, andersson before TDL, it was not keefe line up...

Maybe the 7-11 its a dubas decision, whos knows?

Patting us on the back for a 2-2 split was pretty embarrassing. We should have went into game 5 either up 3-1, or not go into a game 5 at all (sweep). We had their core fully neutralized. 2-2 split was a total fail. Patting us on the back was probably just a smoke screen after he replayed all the ways he didn't help in his head.

Keefe continues to pretend Murray is legit despite math

It’s not going to work out

Overplaying grit players who are just sucking.

Lyubushkin over Liljegren was bad. Doing it again with Schenn would be that much worse. Putting Clifford and Simmonds would also be bad, but I don't see him doing that again, but ZAR should probably be the 13th forward once Knies gets here unless Knies really sucks or someone like Lafferty does even worse than ZAR.

Other than that, if the players do their jobs, I don't think Keefe will do anything to hamstring them.

That’s not keefe, management decided at the start of the season they are running two goalies. Everything this year has been scheduled to support that decision. You don’t just change that mid season and ruin the flow for goaltenders. Sammy has been good this year in part of his work load being split. He doesn’t have to shoulder the load and is getting ample rest

You don’t play your best goalies in the playoffs ?

Woll > Murray.

I don’t care about regular season other than Woll should get more practice for the playoffs.

Keefe won’t call a spade a spade.

Playoffs is a different beast. But honestly I’m not sure starting/playing Woll in the playoffs is the best decision.

Seems he already committed his no.1 mistake : Running Marner into the ground.

How pathetic is it to read Keefe's quotes today about Marner. Buddy, you're the one whose guilty and caused Marner to have to sit tonight to get ready for the playoffs.

Bloody idiot man.

He didn't run Marner into the ground, and Keefe certainly isn't the one who got tangled up with him at the end of the game on Saturday, leading to the choice to give him a day's rest.

Actually he said Marner has “got some bumps and bruises he’s been going through as somebody who’s played as much as he has”. So it’s a function of playing so much and this genius kept riding him hard, despite knowing he’s dealing with some stuff. Awful coaching. Exactly as I’ve worried about.

Back to you and the terrible spin routine….

Somebody who has played as much as he has, as in he's played every game of the season, and been a top player in all situations. I'm not sure why you think it's surprising that a player would have bumps and bruises at this time of year, and I'm not sure how you've twisted his comments to arrive at the conclusion that the only reason he has bumps and bruises is playing an extra shift or two occasionally. Marner has shown that he is more than capable of playing the minutes he has, and the biggest bump and bruise likely came from getting tangled up at the end of the previous game, which was actually a pretty normal ice time game for him.

Whole lot of drama over literally nothing.

More than enough of that from you.

I give you a verbatim quote which obliterates your twisted spin and you project that onto me. Go bite your own tail, I’m out.

You brought a quote that doesn't counter anything I said in any way, and then you attempted to twist that quote into some weird claim about Marner only having bumps and bruises because he played an extra shift occasionally. Which is especially ridiculous considering his biggest bump and bruise likely came from an interaction at the end of the previous game where he got pretty normal ice time. Whole lot of drama over literally nothing.

Marner isn't all that "worn out". Players need fairly major justification to sit out according to league rules.

Especially now that there is betting.

or if the Leafs start heavily resting players, then so will Tampa.

and not having high AAV players at games will reduce ticket sales and disrupt betting.
