They fixed that. If you went to more games instead of handing out infractions you'd know this.you forgot about no hot water

I’m not saying Friedman is right. But that’s what he said. Ullmark looks like he’s gonna play it outThis game of telephone got stupid fast...
"One of the things that was discussed in the past couple of days is 'would Ullmark sign an extension in Boston [pretty sure he misspoke and meant to say Ottawa here]. Now he can't officially do it until July 1st, but as it stands right now the expectation is he is prepared to play out the year and see how things go before committing to doing anything. We'll see if that changes over the next little while, but as it stands right now the belief is that there is going to be no extension in place in July and Ullmark will play it out".Anyone have what Friedman said word-for-word.
The correct answer is "Yes"Top of the waves not word for word but
Ulmark is willing to play out the season,
The expectation right now is that he'll play out the season, but that could change
Exactly what I said"One of the things that was discussed in the past couple of days is 'would Ullmark sign an extension in Boston [pretty sure he misspoke and meant to say Ottawa here]. So is Bruce just Brucing when he said he’s looking for north of 6 mil and both sides are discussing an extension?"One of the things that was discussed in the past couple of days is 'would Ullmark sign an extension in Boston [pretty sure he misspoke and meant to say Ottawa here]. And Ottawa fans have no soul"One of the things that was discussed in the past couple of days is 'would Ullmark sign an extension in Boston [pretty sure he misspoke and meant to say Ottawa here]. Elliotte > BruceSo is Bruce just Brucing when he said he’s looking for north of 6 mil and both sides are discussing an extension?
Elliotte > Bruce
This is Bruce with his league executives buddies that feed him info for his columns
Beats me. He was probably just reporting all the buzz about the extension being the holdup, which was probably not true. In his most recent article he's now saying there have been no formal talks with Ullmark's agent. So is Bruce just Brucing when he said he’s looking for north of 6 mil and both sides are discussing an extension?
He did waive his NTC for Ottawa. I guess so he can be given the starting role?Beats me. He was probably just reporting all the buzz about the extension being the holdup, which was probably not true. In his most recent article he's now saying there have been no formal talks with Ullmark's agent.
During his radio hits over the past few days, Friedman has been sort of implying that the problem might be Ullmark's willingness to sign with Ottawa at all, which is consistent with what he reported on live TV tonight.
It would be a really odd move for a goalie to waive their NTC to go in a contract year to a team notorious for making goalies look bad and be unwilling to sign an extension.Beats me. It is extremely risky, so it could all just be posturing to get every dollar he can.He did waive his NTC for Ottawa. I guess so he can be given the starting role?
It’s still a pretty risky move for him and the agent to take for a 31 year old goalie. There’s always the risk something can go wrong with the team and his numbers dip.
I don't know man I have put in tons of effort and pulled out all my moves and still not scored.Staios didn't get things this far just to not sign him
That's my belief, his agent is posturing, he'll listen and if we offer him a deal he likes, great. It is extremely risky, so it could all just be posturing to get every dollar he can.
Just about to say the same thing.Glad we kept Forsberg. I think he is a good goalie, and if Ullmark is as advertised, we will have one of the best tandems in the league.
Yeah thats my thinking too. I think he signs this offseason. It would be a really odd move for a goalie to waive their NTC to go in a contract year to a team notorious for making goalies look bad and be unwilling to sign an extension.

The good news is we gave up a rental price, so we can still feel fine if he walks after a year knowing it helped us dump Korpisalo.Yeah thats my thinking too. I think he signs this offseason.
