I am curious as anyone how many people they talked to. But on a basic level when you have a specific type in mind…there weren’t that many candidates. Gallant, Lindy and Berube? The last of which would both have the least interest in it and the biggest style fit question?

I guess I’m just curious if they interviewed Gallant. Because that was the only other big fit I saw

Absolutely. I know Vanek didn't take it personally but I remember him telling a story on after the whistle that Lindy was more tough on him after signing the Edmonton offer sheet and ended up getting a decent payday

Teams usually balance it out with some former forwards.

Remember when Lindy started playing Vanek on the Pk, and Vanek was good at it? I thought that was going to turn into a breakout moment for Vanek… oh well.

Honestly this is finally the last straw for me, I'm embarrassed to have spent so much time and money on this organization that just openly mocks itself. Every year I try to come back into the fold and lose interest by the 15th game. I really love all the memories I've had here on these boards over the last 2 decades+ but I'm picking a new team next year and Terry can rot in hell.
