Sure, that's different. It's also an exciting time right now. It was time to move on.

I mean, I don't like to see anyone lose their job. He's a nice guy from all fan accounts (I remember a fan approaching him while he was in vacation in Hawaii and he was nice enough to stop and chat) and he has a family. So in that aspect I'm sad.

But I'm hopeful again for the Sabres....and actually hopeful that Ruff can succeed somewhere else.

Makes total sense. After seeing Lindy try everything last night, it was his last hurrah to get something, ANYTHING out of this team.

He knew it was coming, the Sabres org knew it was coming. How often do we look back at Regiers move and say, hey...thats why he did that.

I don't think that's a good idea, because he won't have a primarily francophone media talking s*** about him everyday. how can you do your job if you understand the slings and barbs of criticism?
