Nurse Is quickly becoming one guy who seems to be a player valued a lot more by his current team than how others perceive him.

Drai or Larsson + 1st would be a tempting package for the Ducks to pass on.

Klefbom at 4.1 for 7 yrs.contract alone is very attractive.Would like to see the adds that ducks need to get er done.

Lets start with a base of a D that has proven he can stay healthy for any length of time. Klefbom is not that. Same boat as CBJ's Murray more or less. Talent appears to be there but durability is in question

Murray doesnt thinks Lindholm worth 6 million long term! So the Anaheim fans must go down in expectations of the return if hes traded!

Only Klefbom fits the rumor of a talented Dman, because of his attractive 4x7 contract who can turn out to be a steal in 2 years.

Oilers would be stupid to trade Klefbom though, soon they have Mcdavid, drais contracts to deal with and in my view klefbom isnt far behind Lindholm and could end up the better one.

So the issue is he's unsigned and people saying trade an unsigned Trouba for him??? What?

Lol, so glad Leafs locked up Rielly before the draft.

Zuccarello ($4.5MM x 3 yrs) + Skjei (2 yrs left on ELC at $925K) + Fast ($950K, then RFA with arb. rights) for Lindholm + Silfverberg.

I'm pretty sure this exact proposal was shot down by like.... every single Ducks fan when it was proposed in a thread of its own. Unlikely in the extreme that opinions have been changed since that thread was up which was like yesterday?.

Sorry. Missed that. Only came to the main boards when I saw that the rumor was out there.

I dunno, seems like pretty good value for a guy who's holding out, but what do I know. :)

Murphy is a clown, just so you know. I'm sure it's been said by at least 20 times by other Bruins fans in this thread, but I'll let it be known again...

Sure, Arizona should trade their franchise defenceman for Lindholm

I'm not even saying they should, it's the only deal we should consider if we're actually going to trade Lindholm for another top D. Heck, the guy posting this rumor said the asking price from the Ducks is laughable, so kind of like my post tbh. Take it as another way of just saying we aren't going to trade Lindholm.

Dreger was the one mentioning him possibly wanting to play in Detroit and that he would more then likely take less to make it happen. Not me only going by what's been floating out there. I could care less he's not coming to Detroit yet any ways. Maybe he would accept a long term deal with Anaheim i don't know. And we might not know for awhile depending on how long this holds out.

I think most players would give a bit of a discount to go to a preferred destination but it doesn't preclude them from signing long-term elsewhere.

So that said, I don't think that's a big factor in what we are discussing right now.

Why would the Oilers do that. Lindholm is horribly overrated and apparently Bob Murray agrees.

If Lindholm and his agent (Claude Lemiuex) are unwilling to negotiate much from their offseason position ("talk" is cheap) and Murray doesn't think he can get them to move, then I would definitely move Lindholm for Rielly +. I don't know what the appropriate + would be,

The train for Anaheim's 2016-2017 season is departing the station. Either Lindholm wants to be on our train or he doesn't. Regardless, we are quickly reaching the point where it's time to move forward.

Hopefully moving Despres to LTIR and a few AHL moves will free up enough cap to make a trade like this, even if we are still a little short to try and meet Lindholm's private contract demands.

Edmonton is no longer desperate enough to offer Draisaitl. With a 4-1 record there are a lot of Oilers that were trade bait a month ago that no longer are.
You wont get Klef or Larrson. That pairing is cemented.
Lucic...no
Puljujarvi on ELC and not needing expansion draft protection...no
Draisaitl...lol
McDavid LOL

The rest can likely be had. I question whether even Eberle is available now

Now that we know you're opinion...

I wonder what Murray actually thinks or does about this situation.

There would be 0 plus unless the plus is to take stoner. Whether Lindholm is more valuable. at the point you suggest they would trade Lindholm when you cant get him for what BM wants you take just Rielly and we pay Lindholm the 5.7 or whatever it is

1D >>> RW prospect

RW is the least valued position in hockey, no GM is going to trade a 1D for anything other than 2D with #1 potential or a 1C.
