Bottom line is we had a lot of chances to bury pucks into wide open nets and missed.
They scored a couple of garbage goals, which you just know are going to happen when your team misses multiple easy scoring chances.
Our inexperience is showing, but there are plenty of positives to take away from this run. There is also some clarity. First, there is not a chance in hell we should pay Strome anywhere near where he is reportedly asking.
There's still a chance we can get to game 7, but if we don't, with a couple of smart roster moves, we will be set up to make runs for the next 4-5 years.

Cant forget that f***ing loser Kevin Rooney brainlessly banging a puck around the board too hard so Goodrow cant get there, leading to a tying goal. No need for it. f*** Rooney
Our team is uniquely bad at weighting those outlet dumps. Igor is guilty of this as well. There is an art to making those plays, unless your system/ positioning is so locked in that it becomes rote memory. For sure something this team needs to work on.

Rangers are talented and skilled but inexperienced. TBL’s defensive structure has asserted itself.

You did see that Goodrow wasn't able to make a play on the puck or on Sergachev because he was interfered with, but yeah, blame Rooney.

Well good news is the Rangers still have another game to play. That's more than 29 other teams can say at this point. Doesn't look good at all but leave it all out there Saturday and make Tampa get on the plane back here.

You did see that if Rooney doesn’t bang the puck so hard, Goodrow can get to that spot to receive it? Or no that doesn’t matter even though it creates the opportunity for the goal to happen, regardless of Goodrow being interfered with which he was.

Call it whatever you want, but Tampa is very good at setting those moving picks/slight interference plays. The Paul play on Goodrow on the first goal was a prime example. That's a penalty but they never call it.

The Patriots are infamous for it as well.

The worst thing about last night is that I finished the last of my 18yo Glennfiddich watching this game.

Honestly they owe me a new bottle.

Seriously. This might be exactly what I needed to get over the loss last night. Rooting for sports teams is just dumb, and fighting over them is beyond disgusting. Get that guy in jail ASAP.

Two misdemeanor assault counts and a discon. He will never get jail time for that, unfortunately, in NYC. The worst that will happen is he is forced to plea to the top count and gets stuck with two misdemeanors on his permanent record and probably has to do some community service time or anger management classes. Hopefully a lifetime ban from MSG as well.

Also guys unless you're in college and/or drunk AF, Dominos is complete bull shit.

Pizza Hut is also bullshit, but its the least bull shit of all the options. Stuffed Crust is the epitome of delicious bullshit that I'm ashamed to admit that I like.

If we end up coming back in this series and then go on to win the cup and people want to make the trip out to Brooklyn, Lucali on me.
Now we're talking, I'll buy the wine.

Lucali one of the places my GF & I have been really eager to try since moving back east. I have a list of about 10 places, but that's really high on the list.

Yes, I was furious just like many of you last night, but there is still another game to be played. We have been in this situation time and time again and have won. Maybe the switch will be turned ON for Saturdays game and we come back home to finish them off. Can't just walk away with a game left, have faith 🙏

Ryan Strome is an abomination. A poor excuse for a hockey player. 9 points in 18 games playing in the top 6. Tbh I am surprised he even has that much with how invisible he has been. Soft.

I really hope the Rangers haven't already given up in the room. Sure, it's Tampa, but we're in the exact same position we were in both of the last two series.

Doesn't matter how we got here. Win on Saturday and you have a chance at a game 7 at home.

Have fun waiting 6 hours in line for pizza

New Haven Connecticut has some of the best pizzas in America and I’m planning on taking the train up there this week for the first time since my Rangers/Avs finals trip got squashed this upcoming week while I’m off work.
I live in Connecticut & while I really like some of the New Haven places, they are a clear step below the best NYC pizzerias. Cheese to sauce ratio is way off & while I love thin stretched pies, they almost stretch them too thin to the point where any flavor is cooked out of the dough. I love the char, but it would be better if the crust had a tad more thickness to give it a little more spring. Then there's the ridiculousness of the 12 or so slices they cut a pizza into. That annoys me to no end...I'm an adult, I can handle a full sized slice.

I digress, but the best pizza in the world continues to be in NYC. It's literally one of the only things I miss about living in the city
