It's amazing that Tampa was one of the most penalized teams in the entire regular season but they have now miraculously learned how to hardly take any penalties at all

Strome is a likable player and has been a good Ranger, but his legacy will be the worst finisher I’ve ever seen. He’s left about 50 slam dunk goals on the table in his 3 years here. Panarin might have a Hart if Strome could hit an empty net. It shouldn’t be surprising that it’s screwing us now
I'm still f***ing surprised that he missed the one he did tonight.
I have made many comments in jest here where I will say something along the lines of "I could have scored on that one."
Tonight is one of the few times where I actually meant it.

Pizza Hut is also bullshit, but its the least bull shit of all the options. Stuffed Crust is the epitome of delicious bullshit that I'm ashamed to admit that I like.
If we end up coming back in this series and then go on to win the cup and people want to make the trip out to Brooklyn, Lucali on me.

I'm from Australia, but when I went to New York I couldn't believe how amazing the pizza is and realise why we get shit for having pineapple on our pizza.
Is there anywhere else around the country that has better pizza than New York?
Don't know why anyone have pizza from the chain stores when you have that there.
I wish we had pizza that good here!

New Haven Connecticut has some of the best pizzas in America and I’m planning on taking the train up there this week for the first time since my Rangers/Avs finals trip got squashed this upcoming week while I’m off work.I'm from Australia, but when I went to New York I couldn't believe how amazing the pizza is and realise why we get shit for having pineapple on our pizza.
Is there anywhere else around the country that has better pizza than New York?

Tampa were just cannier. I said so in the live game thread and got jokingly laughed at. Tampa didn't flub their clears. They were better organized in all 3 zones and had a clearer understanding what they wanted and needed to do, and how to execute it. Contrary to most people (I guess) it's my opinion the Rangers as a whole have the better natural talent, which is why Tampa have to resort to clutching and grabbing. Tampa have significantly better coaching.
The Rangers did too many simple mistakes which Tampa were looking to capitalize on. This is smart play in the post season were players are tired and execution fails.
I live 2 blocks away and have never had to wait more than 30 min.
Honestly the pizza is good but the calzones are the thing to go for. Only place that understands the importance of bread to cheese ratio.

What’s this I hear you gotta line up at like 3pm to put your name down at 5pm and then wait a few hours till you’re called? All kidding aside I wanna go and don’t feel like waiting all night. Can you fill me in? Thanks.
They start taking reservations at 4-4:15 PM. They'll schedule people who want a res at 5 first and then 6... then 7 and so on. You do have to wait on line to schedule your slot which is stupid, but its not as bad as some will make it sound.
You won't have to wait for hours. I stood on line for an 8 pm reservation (the latest they have is at 9) and it was literally a half hour wait. This was for a Friday night too when I had friends from London in town.
If you want one at 5 or 6, you can literally show up at 4 and get slotted in within 10-15 minutes. Maybe even sooner if you go on a Thursday or Sunday.
Its worth doing though. Just be aware that the place is BYOB.

This is the only way it can be done. Backs against the wall, win one road game and then Game 7 at MSG for a chance to play for the Stanley Cup.

refs really inserted themselves in the worst way....cant blame them for the loss but they definitely had a horrible night and deliberately ignored several blatant calls on tampa. they swallowed the whistle a couple times on borderline calls too but you cannot not call the trip on kakko or the headlock on him, and thought there was a pretty obvious hook on him where he was between the circles with a look. and then the pick on goodrow on their first goal...i mean...you cant call a phantom hook on kandre and let that go. even schneiders penalty looked like a stick lift but he was beaten so thats one where anything close is getting called, at least on a blue jersey. also had a lightning quick whistle for vasilevsky. they need to be better
overall it was even, tampa got the right bounce and we didnt take advantage of our opportunities. i think kuch f'd up firing that puck at fox tho....it was an elimination game already for us and he poured some gas on the fire there. more optimistic about a game 7 now

You're going to the wrong local pizza joints then. Other than size, our pizza is much better (opinions may vary, excludes chain pizza stores)

Fans become blissfully unaware that there's an opponent on the ice when their guys lose. Then again, they're blissfully unaware when their team wins, too.
The notion that there's no urgency by the Rangers is beyond stupid. Every one of them is trying as hard as they can. If trying was all it took, every game would be determined by the bounce of one puck.
I want them to win as much as anyone, but I understand that wanting and trying guarantees nothing.
The difference in quality scoring chances was greatly in favor of Tampa.
The Rangers were outplayed and lost. Nothing else happened.
Why on Earth would you want to keep Braun?
I love Motte, but he gets hurt so often that he's only worth a rental.
Tampa figured out shesterkin. They skate to middle blocking his view and pick the corners from distance. Shesterkin doesn't peek to see he just stays square.
