Still really pissed at Trouba.

Like how the f*** do you just randomly drop your stuck completely unforced? Everyone played like a moron in the 3rd, but he was the catalyst to all of the f***ery that took place after we went up 2-0.

We played our worst game in the playoffs and lost by a late goal.Move on to game 4 and come out ready to go.We still are in good shape and can take game 4 if we play our game.

Trouba literally handed them all of the momentum in this series.

Tampa was dead in the water. After 2 PPG's on really dumb penalties, they were done. Then the f*** face had to just drop his stick for no reason and take a penalty, would have probably been better off letting the guy skate by him and let Igor stop what ever was about to happen.

f*** that guy seriously. Would almost rather see Nemeth in there for him next game. I mean I wouldn't because Nemeth is worse and I'm not quite the level or moron that Trouba is, but how the f*** do you just lose your stick in that situation?

Refs were assholes for calling the phantom penalty early in the 3rd, but we had them dead to rights.

i have little doubt that they (they being the Lightning) win game 4. It's going to take a herculean effort to win this series thanks to Trouba's idiocy. He is our Nurse.

The goal was to split the road games. If they win game 4, all is basically forgiven at that point.

And yeah, the refs were bad in the 3rd, but Trouba was awful almost all game.

I can't even get on the refs that much. The call that led to the PP where the Bolts tied it was bullshit, but we got a 4 minute PP after that we couldn't cash in on (thanks in part to Trouba.)

Moron Pens fans who think he intentionally hurt Crosby (As if hes smart/coordinated enough to discreetly injure that prick) should be rooting for him to play as hes almost a lock to f***ing cost us a series along the way. f***ed us in the Pens series with his turn over to Malkin in g6, f***ed us last series turning it over on the PP which led to a SHG against in game 5, f***ed us today by losing his stick for no reason and then taking a penalty on the double minor.

Had they gotten smoked and blown out in this game i wouldn't have felt to bad. They had this series basically locked down and then Trouba had to Trouba.

Haven't been this mad since Marc Staal's swan dive into Hank during Brassard's "GTG" in game 5 against Ottawa.

This fan base is so fragile it is embarrassing. None of you would have survived winning the cup in 1994.

We're up 2-1 against the defending champs and are in a position that 99% of us never expected this year. Even if we get absolutely demolished from here on out, we are way ahead of schedule. Our youngsters are blossoming. Strome is gone next year. We have the best goaltender in the world in net. The long term is bright, even if right now the immediate is bleak (which it isn't).

Also, while it was a bad game from Trouba, to ignore the many positives from him here in the playoffs is straight up ridiculous.

We are not here without him. It's a Tampa Carolina/Pitt matchup right now without Trouba.
Yup, Trouba had a horrible game yesterday, but calling for him to be taken out of the lineup is ridiculous. He has been a huge net positive overall these playoffs. And I'm sure he'll be much better next game again.

Given that a good number of our players were absolute garbage and we still almost pulled it out, I'm feeling good about Tuesday.
Yes, Trouba is a moron, but there are others. Vatrano is a one trick pony and is basically useless if he isn't shooting the puck. He can't break a puck out of the zone with a gun to his head. If Bread is going to take a night off, he at least has to not be a net negative, handing them pucks at the blue lines.
Other than that, can we please shoot the f***ing puck and stop over passing? I don't expect it to be a habit, but we were beating Vasi like a drum up high and decided there might be a better way last night. Don't fix what ain't broken.

Pissed about the way we lost. Totally winnable game that was ruined by Troubas mistakes and poor coaching decisions.

Tampa now has all the momentum, need to bounce back fast tomorrow. Can't let the Lightning continue the onslaught.

The Rangers top line has been routinely dominated at 5v5 in almost every road game I can remember except maybe game 7 vs Carolina. That's a huge issue. Cooper went 12F-6D and moved Cirelli down into a checking role and it completely neutralized the 1st line. I don't know how the Rangers counter it at this point. I don't want to move Lafreniere or Kakko off the kid line, they have been so good together.
U counter it with playing the zib line less and whatever match up is working best u play them the most
If the kid line match-up is playing well they become line one meaning they get the most ice time.
Same for the pan line. They rolling, u play them the most and the kid line second most.
These r the in game management adjustments gg refuses to do.
And why we will never be successful on the rd unless it's do or die
He could also take vat off the first line on rd games. Love the dude and he plays great at home but struggles the most on the rd. Throw reaves up there and perhaps vat can find room on the 4th line against their 4th line and pop in a goal
My road lineup

Can't say I'm not disappointed Wednesday isn't doing her thing, dancing up a storm after another Rangers win. But we weren't gonna sweep the defending Stanley Cup Champs anyway. Now we need to turn the page, get back on that horse and dust this one off, as they have been doing all year.

It's important to have a strong bounce back after losing like we did, up by two goals early, and taking a lead into the 3rd period. And even though we let them back into this game, we were right there til the end. It took a great play from a great player in Kucherov to beat us. Never seen a pass like that before. It was kinda weird how he set his linemate up perfectly. Kind of a shuffle pass right into his wheelhouse. Zibad was powerless to do anything about it.

Hope Hunt dresses if Strome can't make it back in time for the next game. I got a feeling he might be our secret weapon coming off the bench. But it will probably be Rooney right?

You know I wouldn't mind giving Stromer and Goodie a day off to get those two guys in. Let those guys heal, while we bring in some unsung heroes, who helped us get here. Never a better time to do it with a 2-1 series lead on the road, coming off a loss, just to shake things up a bit. Both those guys provide lots of energy that I think would be welcome. And both forecheck hard and take the body. Give our wounded warriors a day off. Now's the time.

Some of these folks will complain even if the Rangers win the Cup.

If they won a million in a lottery, they'd complain they didn't win 2 million.

Their oxygen is moaning.

The tin foil theories and calls to scratch Trouba and throw the lines in a blender are embarrassing.

Trouba is solid. No player is immune to mistakes. But a handful of calls against him are bullshit phantom calls based on reputation. The problem with refs and human error is that bias comes into play. We aren't where we are without Trouba. I'm not ready to turn on our guys. We are up 2 games to 1 in the Conference Final.

Forget this one, Tuesday night get back at it, we can come back home to MSG with a 3-1 series lead.

It took Tampa everything they got to win by one goal. If that was their best yesterday then we have a good shot on Tuesday.

Forget about the refs and forget about Trouba too.

We got absolutely f***ing embarrassed.

That was our worst game of the playoffs and 3-2 is a lie.

Onto the next one.
Did you watch game 4 in Pittsburgh?

Motte getting 9 minutes is f***ing egregious. UNACCEPTABLE.

I want to see Brodzinski in over Hunt/Rooney but I know we won’t get it.

I have always said we are far better off without Strome in the lineup, addition ny subtraction - now we find out.

That midriff was the only good thing all third period btw
Yeah, so amazing to see the spray tan of some community college bartender. Pointing out skin showing…Are we in Yemen? **** This Grade F ESPN production and Disney in bed with the Lightning storyline. ESPN is such shit, maybe we can see another Emily Kaplan interview while the game IS ******* PLAYING IN REAL TiME! Quick to commercial, sell that Minnesota Lynx WNBA doubleheader and flyfishing.

PS - I’m still incredibly sour over what transpired yesterday but this ESPN thing is a massive fail.

I could see it going either way.

There's the potential that the Strome injury forces Gallant to actually put a decent second line together and Panarin gets going.

There's also the possibility that Rooney comes in for Strome, plays 8 minutes with Reaves, and we basically give Tampa four powerplays while those two are on the ice together.

Maybe both,

Motte coming back turned the playoffs around. We should have lost to Pittsburgh and it's because they were absolutely swallowing our 4th line (+Nemeth). My biggest concern with Strome being out is not Strome, but the possible domino effect of going back to that 4th line.

On a positive note, I believe Goodrow AND Motte were both out for most of the Pens series so at least one of them will still be down there to babysit.
