12.09 TOI, 2 shots 1 goal.
Still 4th line LW

It was a nice shot, top corner

The pass kind of made it so he had to stop the puck rather than one-time it, but that was a heck of a fast release to get that much power on it. Scouts weren't kidding about his shot. Glad to see him produce a little, especially in such a limited role.

Did not play in today´s game.
17 year old Jack Berglund plays in his first SHL game. 6'2" 207 lbs LW with 12+13 in 28 games in the U20 team, scored his first goal in the second period.

Played in his third game today. Was in the second line, but only played fourth line minutes, 13.19.
Did a pretty dangerous tripping near the boards on his first shift, looked a little dirty to me. Did not show anything really, had a hard time finding his place on the ice, always chasing the play and not knowing where to go. Very seldom touched the puck at all, did not have control of it at any time before the third period.

He did have a moment with 8 minutes left where he got to a loose puck behind the net and circled around and found a shooting lane, and shortly after he fired another shot.
But oh man, he needs to work on his chemistry with his linemates.
He was also weak in all of the board battles, need to spend a lot of time in the gym.

Still early though, can`t really expect him to dominate a pro league after his injury problems. Give him a month or two before judging.

Yeah, that's how I feel too. I don't expect him to look right shortly after returning from injury.

Watched most of Ohgren vs Skelleftea, in this chl tournament game. Drew a penalty with good speed; had a very nice shot and goal. But initial thoughts are he’s going to have to work on his agility and overall strength. (Should get better with age.) He could probably use his momentum better at times to his advantage. But if the Ness’ can get Rossi going, then Ohgren should become a nice player.

Edit: found the goal.

Today was his 5th SHL game, and he scored his second goal. played 14.45 minutes, 4 shots on goal and 1 wide. Starting to find the puck a little more.
The goal came with 10 minutes left and was the last of the game, 5-1. It was a nice, quick shot and he is getting better.
Good to see his confidence rising a little bit too.

Well that will help the confidence a bit lol.
He's had a sturdy look but with average acceleration - but from that clip, looks like if you give him room to ramp up past his 1st 3 steps, he looks like a train charging through. Though I want to see how he does in tight spaces, can he explode while playing along the boards and on the cycle? But I'm excited for him!

Played vs USA in today's pre-tournament game. Second line winger. Had an assist, didn't look too impressive. Was flopping on the ice a few times, had a couple of good looks but nothing that really stood out.
David Edström on the other hand, I think he could be one of the better players in this years tournament.
Will Smith and Snuggerud were really great and should be stars in the NHL soon.

The guy I wanted

WJC captains have been a somewhat mixed bag fir the Wild: mainly good, and sure NHLers one and all.

The Good: Kaprizov, Ek, Zucker, Granlund

The not as good: Kunin, Larsson

Is Ohgren playing center? EA dropped a Sweden Nations of Hockey Ohgren card that is an 84 overall center:
