Does anyone remember Derek Armstrong? Only player to wear 4 different numbers as a Ranger (excluding pre-season of course)

Erik Christensen is only 34, jeez. Spent some time as the first line center, which says a lot about the state of the team in 2009. I remember him sniping a wrister from just above the goal line and thinking hey maybe this guy is actually good. No.

An entire page of Ryan Hollweg commentary should be filled by now...

Hollweg can be followed on Twitter @TheStache15...because that's exactly what you'd expect.

As per Wiki...Following the death of Tom Petty, Hollweg took to the ice with Czech club, HC Plzen, played guitar and sang "Free Falling".

This is one of those memories that are burned into my brain for some reason- despite the lack of noteworthiness.

I think about this goal all the time.

One goal that will always stay with me is this one:

Backstory:

I had just come back from South Africa after my divorce, was missing my son a lot and decided to start watching Ranger games live again while waiting for my new job to start. This was the first game I watched after coming back. Not only is it a great goal with Anisimov basically scoring while surrounded by 4 Penguins, but also because of the joy it gave me at the time. This goal will forever be part of my life as a Rangers fan and is the first of many, many great memories I have of that 2010-2016 Rangers era.

And you know what? Another memorable Anisimov moment for good measure.

Rangers on the PP, Anisimov gets hooked, scores the goal and is then hit with a high stick. The Rangers were up 2-0 and on the PP, scored and then ended up 3-0 ahead with a 5-on-3. Crazy stuff

Per Djoos has gotten a lot of mentions.

But what about Mark Pavelich?

Steve McKenna comes to mind.

The guy was just so bad, fought people every other night, and fell in every fight he ever had.

McLeod is better than McKenna was.

also, Not obscure, but member Mike Dunham? member?

There was a ticket commercial on MSG about the seats behind Dunham being the best seats in the house. That was in the before time.
