Only if you can get rid of Smoak/Colabello. Then you would have a real 1B who can play the field too, stash Edwin as the permanent DH and then have a bench full of versatility including a real backup catcher.

I love this deal! But I thought Shapiro didn't know what he was doing?

Storen is a good bullpen piece. Revere who I was assuming would be traded and was purely a piece for last season, and we traded him and got a solid return. We have a solid bullpen if you ask me, especially if Loup can pitch like we know he is capable of[I think he will]. We managed to turn Revere into something much better than expected. Storen will really help this pen out. Its a pretty great trade.

My question is: Who will get the singles for the team now
