If management keeps making good trades like this they're gonna be Revere'd, I wonder what else is in Store'n

Stolen for Revere seems lik a fair deal both teams get a player they need.

Storen is another end of game arm that now slots Cecil and himself to take over 7 and 8th innings. Now you have lengthened your bullpen.

Sanchez now has to be slotted in the rotation you would have to think

This is pure genius. Trading an overpriced backup outfielder that we have a surplus of in the minors for an overpriced relief pitcher that fills a big hole.

Gonna have an influx of, "omg hitz, how could we trade a .300+ hitter" posts for a little while but once that ends this should put that discussion pretty much to bed, thank god.

Revere for storen. Well we figured right that they'd move his money. Solid pen piece

I think they should keep all 4 to make for a great pen.

Chavez
Loup
That guy we got in the r6 draft
Cecil
Sanchez
Storen
Osuna

All of a sudden it became a strength. If Loup regains form, look out.

What is nice if Pompey is the man to emerge as the starting LF he will only need to hit fairly AVG and play outstanding D to solidify his spot.

He can bat 9th and the pressure is off

I believe we still have enough money to go after Blanton too. Now that we filled a need from a strength.

Not sure the lads are done. Scout tells me Dickey in play.

This topic has taken over the Jays?

I love how Shapiro is quietly rounding out a very effective offseason. He has added AAA depth for the rotation, hes added some fringe starters to put in the pen and hope for fire and now hes traded depth for a very good piece of need. Not to mention giving us 6 major league starters instead of only 3 with AAAA scrubs.

If they move Dickey it makes the Thole signing a little off although I guess they'd be a package deal once again.
