That just won't work for the Leafs for cap purposes. Part of what makes this deal work for them is not only fit, but saving money by moving from Willy to Brett. Adding turbo makes their situation worse capwise then they already are.
However, if we retain 40% on Turbo and 50% on Pesce, it would give the Leafs back $1,709,866 in Cap Space With Nylander's contract (and i'm including the 2.5 for TDA), it would put us over the Cap by $39,283.00 which can be covered sending Kuch to the AHL and take the 851,000 cap hit.

I'm not sure that makes sense for us, then.

I'm on board with flipping Skjei for a winger. Wouldn't be overly opposed to keeping him if we want him to keep TDA in check, but feel like he is paid too much for that and the cap hit would be better used elsewhere.

I'm also curious what Calgary would want for Lindholm, as he only has a year left. I'd assume it would be too much for us, but if the FO wants to make a big push this year, Lindholm would definitely be a nice 2C upgrade.

He has to be remkin from the old ch.com board

lol. Over a year ago I pm'd him asking that question because of the length of his posts; didn't get a response. While sharing a predilection for length, I've since come to think they're not the same guy based on writing style. Just doesn't sound the same to me, plus I think remkin would have answered me.

Feels like an NHL achievement we can unlock. Has an NHL team ever had the complete set of 4 or more brothers all play for them at some point?
Can't find the answer but it doesn't look like it. Other than the Sutters it doesn't look like many other sets of brother have 4 that played in the NHL.

Stasny's had 3 play on the same team

You talking about/to me? :)

I don’t see any PM from you so not sure what happened if so… I think we have had a few board upgrades so maybe it got lost in the shuffle.

im just me, not any other username. Sorry :( Career lurker and only came out of hiding on this board…

Yeah, back before the official Canes site got shut down we had a regular who was also know for his really long posts. Don't know if the "doc" in your user name refers to you being an MD, but he actually was and headed up a nearby hospital emergency department. Between those two things I sent you a pm seeing if you were the same guy. Might have been right around one of the migrations and got lost; I don't have it in my pm list, either.
