… while not playing top line minutes, Johnson is absolutely holding his own. 5 points last 6 games while scoring 3 goals during that stretch.

sucks that the Jackets don’t view him as a center (yet) because him and johnny would have natural chemistry, im sure of it. their styles of play compliment eachother immensely.

Sillinger is more talented than Johnson but he may not work with Gaudreau.

as a fan who has watched every single game of cole sillinger’s nhl career (no exaggeration) I can fervently say, that he is absolutely NOT more talented lol.

as @majormajor mentioned previously in this thread, Cole will more than likely never ever become a 1C.

and as I previously posted a video in this thread about him, his skating is very very bad. check around page 2-3 for it. you’ll see what I see (and others see).

He never said that he was going to the Devils. Anybody who thinks he was going to go there and is upset about it only has themselves to blame as their expectations did not meet reality. I don't know if he used NJ to negotiate with others, but if he did, so what? He was a UFA and he can do whatever he wants. He doesn't owe you or me or any organization anything.
The booing and animosity comes across as a guy that was obsessed with a girl and thought that she liked him, only to find out that it was not the case and she went to the prom with someone else.

Most of it to be honest. The parts are definitely much more talented than the whole and aren't really playing anything near what they should be.

Hischier and Bratt are 2nd liners who occasionally are elevated because of their 2 way play.

Every single GM in the league would choose Hischier over Laine at this stage. Hischier is a 2 way force who plays a complete 200 foot game & is finally breaking out. (Last year 60 points in 70 games) and right now he's a more then a PPG center. You would have to be straight up dumb to pick Laine over Nico. [Edit- Didn't even notice you included Bratt, Yikes....You're so uninformed. Bratt is in a different tier then Laine right now]
