My guess is they played him in Pittsburgh because it was last game of a road trip and what would he gain from sitting out that game? I think it’s more likely he sits out tonight that gives him almost an entire week off so he can rest, recover and go hard all week in the gym/practice.

Yah they were limiting his ice time as ducks were holding in to the lead.

He has struggled a bit the last 4 games but in the grand scheme of things he looks just fine

The entire top line could have multiple points in almost every game. While they're not consistently dominant, they still create very good scoring chances at least a couple of times per night.
Chiclets had a pretty glowing review of the Ducks in their latest episode.
One thing that sticks out to me is how serious he is on the ice and on the bench. You can tell even in the pictures from practice, he's all business. Similar to Backstrom in that way. I think he's pretty critical of himself and has very, very high expectations.

Hes only flaw right now is his Body is still not done Maturing.. He needs to build fat and turn that fat into muscle.. as his body grows.. Also work on his faceoff skills.. He is naturally a big dude.. But he has not yet fully grown into his frame.. By age 21.. He will be a force.. Lookout NHL

He's got the poise of an NHLer already at 18 years old.... that's insane.
Yeah he reminds me a lot of Kopitar in that way. Responsible, Intelligent and Patient.
Really excited for the chemistry to build and see him putting a lot of apples on the board in addition to goals.
I feel like such a jackass I was disappointed we didn't get Fantilli. Where's my plate of steamed crow?

Kopitar is a good comparison for him, although I think there’s a higher level of offensive skill to Leo, which is really saying something. Malkin maybe

He's better than Zegras now I think and the fact he keeps getting better means by seasons end he should be the 2nd most important forward on the roster after McTavish.
He cannot sit tomorrow after last night’s game. Let him rest on one of those back to backs coming up next week.
I also liked his comment about being on the half wall on the PP. Hopefully Brown realizes that he can’t put him in front of the net just because he is tall. Takes away his strengths.
