Post-Game Talk: Leafs win.

Good post. Arguing without insults is not easy for some people.
I admit I have been giving nicknames to Marner recently and I take full blame for that, but I'm usually good with avoiding that. Here we have a new nickname for Dubas every week it seems.

Absolutely agree I think it was Kyle dubas that wrote it hey you know what they say it takes all kinds to go around lmao
 
I watched the highlights. Oh boy the Leafs were bad. The highlights were about 70% Chicago highlights (Campbell Saves), 30% Leafs highlights. The Hawks definitely had better chances and more chances.

Leafs need to find a song like the blues did (Gloria) when they won the cup. they sucked ass till january if am not mistaken :laugh:

but they hired a new coach and binnington was lights out... not sure leafs will ever get that lucky

It was a bad game all round. Neither team looked good at all and should be worried. Fortunately we won, but man was it tough to watch.

I wanna say baby steps, but honestly I feel the two goals we got were extremely fortunate, and I don't want them to think the game some players played was adequate for a victory.

that being said, I was very impressed with a lot of players and I felt that Marner had his best game of the year, looked hungry at least.
 
That felt good. Much needed. Follow it up with 2 Saturday. Sadly our board is almost as insufferable during a win as a loss. Same posters delivering the same negative message over and over again. Don’t even enjoy coming on here most nights.

We've had some of the worst goal scoring luck in the league so far... I think it's ok to get a little lucky/fortunate on at least one of them.

It wasn't the prettiest of wins but by God I'll take it after the last week or two

We found a way to win which makes me extremely happy since the team and fan base badly needed something good to go our way

Let's hope we can build on it and give Detroit the kicking they so richly deserve
