Post-Game Talk: Leafs win a barn burner

Bit of a rough one from Campbell and the shutdown pair, but not at all concerning and just how she goes sometimes. Matthews, our Hart Trophy candidate, and Marner, our very own Patrick Kane, combined with surprisingly plucky pickup Galchenyuk to win the game by themselves. Would have preferred it to be a clean one, but honestly I had a great time watching this one. Was in a zoom call with a friend who's a Sens fan and we had a lot of fun with all the back and forth goals.

barabanov sucked .. his days are numbered on this team.
thornton is garbage at this point. barely a 4th liner because he doesnt bring energy
holl ... had a rare off game. he is uaually our most consistant D man
campbell ... wasnt great
spezza ... was he even playing tonight ? i dont remember hearing his name once

everyone else you can score on a scale of above average to inhuman :)
One thing I'll say about Barbanov is that he made a key clear after the icing with a tired, out of place group, that most of our forwards on this roster struggle with. It would have been easy to overthink or bail out on the play, but he simply did his job there

Some folks on Sens board and twitter saying Leafs are doomed in the playoffs because they let in 5 goals to Ottawa. I wonder what they think of TBL who let in 6 goals and 5 goals to DET in 2 losses this season.

I think Hyman's EN goal brought tears to Jack's eyes.

Congrats, Soupy!!!!

Who cares

Do you know how much it's killing the rest of Canada to see the Leafs destroying their teams lol

Ugly win on the scoreboard allowing Sens to score 5, but a win is a win...and Campbell beats Carey Price's record...woot!

Really feels like the matchups are close to locked in. At this point, I'd be surprised if it's not us vs Montreal and Edmonton vs Winnipeg

Muzzin and Holl weren't good tonight and neither was Campbell but glad we got him the W. Leafs still handily in control the whole game and managed to let the Sens in every time.

Thornton's not playing that well recently. Might be time to sit a few games man...I am not sure if I like him as a regular on the team in the playoffs.

You can tell that the boys are having the time of their lives out there. Marner's reaction to his goal said it all. Matthews goal scoring is off the charts. Campbell setting NHL records. They don't want this to end and there's no reason why it should.

Kind of a blessing in disguise Campbell played his sloppiness game as a leaf. Now we get to see how he rebounds against a hungry Montreal team.

Yeah and Carolina just lost to Detroit 5-4 in shootout tonight too.

For the night anyway, we move back into #1 in the league. #3 in point percentage
