Really happy for Gregor. Woll too, an amazing and richly deserved win for him. And Maurice closer to a stroke.

So. In spite of multiple power play opportunities, it's a minimum wage PTO walk-on that provides all our offense. Dissolve the core fore, Tre. Blow it the f*** up now.

What in the **** was that?

I'm not proud so I'll take it but that's going to take some processing

Woll was great, the defense looked committed and our depth forwards came through again

Our big boys have cooled off though, it would be nice if they would kick it into gear again
There more than capable of it

It's kinda bad that by spreading around Matthews and Marner they've effectively short circuited the Tavares-Bertuzzi-Nylander trio which was looking so good.

Maybe they need to put Marner and Matthews on their own timeout lines to get the 1st line back together.

Was the Panthers on the second night of a back-to-back and gave the Leafs all they could handle and almost came out on top, or was I dreaming? :sarcasm:

i heard my dad turn off the tv then after the goal came back and leafs won i decided to confuse the hell out of him for a few minutes
I remember years ago a guy at the casino in Niagara was watching a football game and his parlay for a few hundred dollars was live. He lost on the last game, last play on a TD as the over hit and he had the under.

Players were celebrating and he was incensed. He ripped up the ticket in rage and tossed it in the garbage only to find out the play was called back on a hold. Game went into OT and a FG won the game as the under held.

He had dug into the garbage bin and tried to get every single piece he ripped into shreads. He said he was going to tape it together and demand they honour his ticket. I never saw the guy again to know if it worked out or not.

Were they though? First period was awful, Leafs were good in the 2nd. 3rd was pretty even? Both teams had chances.

It was a pretty hard fought game. Fights, hits, emotions.

Sometimes you gotta grind one out and they did, right? We don't care if they win or lose if there's an effort?
We were dominated in the first, slight edge to us in the next 2 periods. Pp looked awful and we never looked crisp.

Frustrating team to watch right now

The good:
Gregor playing above his pay grade
Woll pretty much the only reason the leafs had a chance

The bad:
Tavares and burtuzzi played?
Timmins is still a step and a half behind every play.

The ugly:
Marner is a putrid turd out there

Take the 2 points, but this was woll+luck.

That was en embarrassing example of hockey. The NHL is in big trouble because there are far too many games like that.

This team is definitely not good enough

The forwards aren’t competing
Brodie is out of it
McCabe is junk

Reilly
Brodie
McCabe Lilly
Gio.

We need 2 top 4 D.

This season is a write off IMO

Very frustrating, don't disagree there. The Leafs had a chance to get a goal late in the 3rd and choked. But they were committed and all that.

It's nice having a good goaltender covering up some mistakes.

That game was the definition of the good, the bad, and the ugly. Gregor has been a bright spot all year on the 4th line.

Tavares was awful tonight I must add. Captain and he’s scared to shoot in the shootout.
