It's similar to our crappy PP. The high guy is pulling up for a shot, which shouldn't be the goal. Attack with speed like you said, look for a give and go downlow, instead it's a (bad) 3rd point man

Totally. Earlier in the season, we had GREAT movement on our PP. Guys were flying, snapping the puck around, changing position constantly, super dynamic. Now everyone is pretty stationary and just making safe passes from the point to the half wall and back - of course we aren’t generating prime chances.

Overall, our offence is just a lot more static, safe and predictable. That has to change, our strength is high end offensive talent who play a really dynamic, fast paced, somewhat risky game with the puck. I think we have to get back to that.

Strange game. It feels like they have played like crap, but have 30+ shots after two.

I guess they have been playing extremely sloppy, though those last 8 or so minutes of the 2nd were very good. Need that in the 3rd to finish this one off. We need that early season close out effort to reappear here.
