What a crazy finish. Once they tied it this is the type of team at least in the regular season ... anything is possible.

Matthews looked to be cooked in the 3rd a bit and then pulls that one off. Unreal snipe.

Stolarz though... wow. He should get the belt. What a game.

Nice to steal one.

Go get a W on Thursday against the Ducks.

a win who look like a f***ing lost... 2 pts completly stole by Stolarz...

It was at the same time awful to watch and extremwly funny to see how much NJ dominated that game without been able to that f*** all

Where would the Leafs be without Stolarz this season? Dude has been playing great almost all year and tonight was his best game to date. :handclap::handclap::handclap:

Feels good to have a goaltender that can step up and make some timely saves to keep your team in the game and give you that chance to win even when you're being outplayed most of the game.

Actually that's exactly what they shouldn't do for anyone. Let them play and let them earn it.

I've said all year though, if any goalie in this league gets into the Leafs net and wins the Cup and Conn Smythe, I don't care if they are in their first season or a 40 year old, they will make $10M per. The team would double in value overnight.
 
Stolarz. WOW!!!! Matthews might need to go back to Germany. He still isn't right. Yet he nets the winner. As the Lions would say. GRIT.
 
Leafs got extremely outplayed.
Stolarz played great and outplayed Markstrom.

However, i don't think New Jersey played too great. They played a very Keefe's Leafs like-game where they struggled to get into the dirty areas and make life difficult for Stolarz. The few times they did there was a scramble in front of the net and they weren't able to get that last shot off.


They still heavily outplayed us, were first to the puck 90% of the time, and forced turnovers... but they didn't attack the center of the ice very well and that helped Stolarz.

the problem he was looking to have reaves hand on those breakaway...

I dont know what the record for number breakaway from a single player who missed the net but he should be pretty close of it
