Bertuzzi’s offence will eventually come. And it’s nice to see he’s still engaged in the play and trying to get pucks back onto our sticks. At least the effort is still there.

Can’t really say the same for Domi. I thought we’d see the best version of Max in the blue and white but he looks completely useless out there. Kerfoot was way better than him.

If these guys are still looking like this by the end of the month then it was a failed experiment. But 20 games minimum are required to make a judgement.

I think we see a coaching change before we see players traded out anyway.

Trade Bertuzzi ASAP for a defenseman. Despite his poor season he still has value based on his resume. Gregor i would bump up. He brings nothing so far so nothing to miss but we know this d-core is weak.

for me he has been the most disappointing playyer this year. i'm factoring in expectation. It's not even that his stats are bad, it's that he's so unnoticeable out there.

I have some faith that he'll get better and the stats will improve, but he needs to be a lot better.

I wouldn’t say he’s been unnoticeable out there… He’s been pretty noticeable with all the turnovers he’s made IMO.

Nono domi 3rd line center best that lines look this year Robertson is not going bacc down

He Just looks like a bad fit with the Leafs
Was worth the try ,but he should be traded for defensive help ...

They're going to give him more than 12 games lol.

Worst case scenario he walks next summer. Doubt he's getting traded.
Who's gonna take
Everyone has to take a deep breath. Bertuzzi will come around, and when he does the team will be even better.
Lol no one would want him klingberg or reavo
Samsonov might even clear waivers lol
Right now I mean
After game 30 or so this all might be moot

Not sure what to make of him yet.

For me he is not a power forward though. He is more a grindy player with some skill.

Has good hands can keep a play going but lacking jam looking overprice. Hard to believe we are paying him 5 and had to let Hyman walk out the door.

He’s a bit like young Hyman when he had kind of janky puck skills but enough talent to do creative skill things that surprise… but had a scrawnier build and can doesn’t appear to be in nearly as good shape as Hyman to have the constant motor. He’s more like Connor Brown from the wrong side of the tracks. With a too cool for school attitude. In a bad way.

Philosophical question, but would you rather have Bertuzzi now at $5.5 million or an overpaid Corey Perry in the $4 million range?

at this very moment Id take Perry @ 4, but im not giving up on Bert, I think he will find his way though im losing patience lol

When it comes to players quickly acclimating to a city/organization, Toronto's always been one of the easier clubs in the NHL/pro sports.

Edited to say: I think he's a quintessential old-time Maple Leaf. Which might explain why the transition has been modest thus far.

My answer now (Perry) is different than it would have been when the two players were actually on the FA market (Bertuzzi). I still view the upside to be higher with Bertuzzi.

Let’s not pretend he is Nick Ritchie 2.0 here guys.

Bert can play, he is adjusting to playing at Leafs tempo.
