No it can't. Only part of it. And we're playing him.The entire contract can be buried....who cares.

He deserves to be playing right now. If he doesn't in two years we bury it. For the actual impact the contract will have the amount of whining about it is a waste of time. By the time year 3 roles around we will be able to fully bury him if we need to.No it can't. Only part of it. And we're playing him.
It’s only Jonas complaining.Reaves is s f***ing force out there. You pansies stop complaining
You don't know whether he will be fully buriable by the time it comes to bury him (which could easily be this year), and even if he "deserved" a spot now, you also don't know if the team will bury him when he deserves to be buried. Right now, he is costing us 1.35m - which while not a big amount, is still a consequential amount and can do things like force trades, as we saw, and is not fully buriable. He's had some fun moments in the adrenaline of the early season, and some questionable moments as well. People talking about him and discussing history accurately isn't "complaining" and "whining".He deserves to be playing right now. If he doesn't in two years we bury it. They traded Sam laffetry and not nylander. Let’s not overreact to trading Laffetry as some big loss because of Reaves. You don't know whether he will be fully buriable by the time it comes to bury him (which could easily be this year), and even if he "deserved" a spot now, you also don't know if the team will bury him when he deserves to be buried. It really is not a consequential amount lol I think we are going to survive the massive loss that is Sam Lafferty. You don't know whether he will be fully buriable by the time it comes to bury him (which could easily be this year), and even if he "deserved" a spot now, you also don't know if the team will bury him when he deserves to be buried. Nobody said it was some massive loss. I said it necessitated a trade. I don't know why people are exaggerating simple, straightforward statements. It really is not a consequential amount lol I think we are going to survive the massive loss that is Sam Lafferty.

I’m damn near positive that 90-95% of if not the whole contract can be buried if and when the time comes.
My complaint about Reeves at the time of the signing was that I didn’t think he could be an effective player when he wasn’t fighting.
So far I have been wrong on that point. He has been a good 4th liner.
He looks so slow but he has really been hitting hard
I’m surprised he didn’t pump foligno
They are friends though?
Yep. Dubas had this type of player for pretty much the whole time he was here. The only real difference is that we're paying double the amount and lost a better option to get a slightly better fighter.

And while Lafferty isn't some world-burner, he's a better and cheaper and younger player than Reaves.
Foligno said they were best friends last year. He had nothing but good things to say about Reaves post game, said the hits were clean, that Reaves plays clean, likes to play physical...but he had to step in to send a message. He said after the Gaudreau hit he was fighting whether it was Reaves or Marner who threw the hit. He also laughed and said "he's a quote machine over there (in Toronto)"He looks so slow but he has really been hitting hard
