If you are going to respond do. it right, respond to the entire post.
I'm sorry, you don't have the authority to dictate, what people choose to respond to, and how.
This whole premise that this team just needs to fix it's goaltending, and other knee jerk reactions that have been posted, is typical of a panic mentality.
This version of the Leafs team, is far from perfect, and could use fixing in a number of areas. We have finite resources to address these areas. Spending this limited currency on goaltending, would be incredibly foolish, when there are other far bigger issues on the team. I'm hoping Treliving is focusing on these areas of need, over areas that will likely prove not be the biggest undoings of a team. Samsonov was good last year, and a few bad games early this year doesn't change that. With patience, his game will come around, and the last few prove that. Woll has generally been excellent at every level, and has shown stretches of that this year. He's had a couple of bad games, but every goalie goes through this. When you have a team that has been poor defensively, is giving up league leading levels of higher danger chances, and is regularly giving subpar efforts, and historically it's core doesn't perform when needed most... you focus on THOSE areas. You don't jump up and down in a panic screaming the sky is falling, when it's clearly showing a complete inability to actually identify the problems of this team. Hildeby is having an amazing campaign down on the Marlies, and it would be great to give him a game or two at some point. If we have a prospect system strength at the moment, it's actually goaltending. To think we should spend our limited currency on the position, is ludicrous at best.
Thank you for the ongoing entertainment.
