Go watch the replay - it is up now. I didn't realize quite how bad JT was on the play, but it is spectacular.

He goes after the wrong man who was standing still, and then after realizing he screwed up, lumbers back afterwards and can't catch a Florida player who is literally just GLIDING - not even taking strides.

Tavares was there, his stick just missed the pass. But he did hustle back and get there. Just missed the poke check.

He also didn’t go brain dead, he tried to jump on the loose puck that Nylander left in the slot.

PP was out of synch. This better not be a sign that Keefe's PP is about to fall apart again before the playoffs. At least he can blame Liljegren.

Marner is getting run into the ground with these minutes, he’s been carrying the forward group and his tank is looking emptier.

I would give him a night off vs the Sens if I'm Keefe.

How in the world are you blaming JT when Nylander tried to dangle through 2 guys for no reason? Awful decision.

Because JT went to stupidly challenge their player along the boards in a ridiculously low percentage play resulting in their 2 on 1. Even if he's got McDavid speed that's a bad move, with his lack of wheels it's stupid and demonstrates pure greed hoping for a low percentage turnover.

Overall a bad game for JT. I counted 4 turnovers he was responsible for one one PP. Hopefully, he gets it going in time for the playoffs.

Tavares does not need to play 3-3.

All his strengths are negated in a wide open, speed skating style game.

Better to roll out players like Jarnkrok , Kerfoot and Kamph.

Keefe should know better.

Fair, but he saw Nylander was out of the play, so going in deep for a 50-50 puck was not a great decision. Even still, had he just hustled back directly to defend he would've easily been able to impact the play, even at his speed, instead, he went for the lazy stick swing at the stationary guy who was closest to him.

I don't like the way he played that at all.

Mistakes happen in OT - things really fall off the rails if multiple people make bad decisions in a row.

Depends on how he produces.

He’s actually having the best productive season with the Leafs since his first year.

But the flaws in his game are becoming more noticeable. Tells me that if he’s utilized properly, he can still be effective and produce. 3 on 3 OT is bad utilization.

Marner at least gets some benefit of the doubt as he plays a ton of OT minutes against the opponents top players.

JT gets one shift per OT, usually against second liners, and usually results in a goal against.

Good on Keefe for having JT and Rielly out there together though.

This. All of a sudden FLA has their rested best players playing JT/Nylander? What the? Why wasn't Marner/Matthews back out there? Keefe over thinks these things. To be outcoached by someone as mediocre as Paul Maurice. Holy God.

A little bit of pressure and this team folds. Every single time. Does not matter who we play in the first round, the same thing will happen again. I love most of our players individually. But as a group it has never worked and will never work.

All the changes at the trade deadline have only made things worse.

Time to accept this group for what it is. A group that can dominate when things go their way. But don't know how to handle adversity. That cannot deal with pressure. They cannot win in the playoffs.

I feel so deflated after games like this. And I hate it when our commentators scream when the opposition scores. Be sad with us.
