We’re a cash strapped team, and Boston Pizza Jr., fresh off ruining Calgary, spent $11 mil AAV on Klingberg, Reaves and Bertuzzi. Klingberg and Reaves are basically unplayable, get lit up every time they touch the ice (bottom 2 players on the team IMO), and Bertuzzi just hasn’t done much. Thanks Brad.

Bertuzzi and Domi COULD make reasonable impacts in the right role.

Klingberg is absolutely hopeless. He has noodles for brains. Reaves is all talk, no action, and skates in cement. His presence on the ice is a shift after shift liability.

This is why I was willing crown him the #1 goalie like so many here did.

The brodcast said it was 4 straight games of 4+ goals against that's not true because Samsonov lost 3-2 in a shootout.

Regardless this team needs a goalie.

What players are underperforming? Essentially the ones that Brad signed, not Dubas.

Regardless, I think they have very different philosophies and the new guys may not end up meshing, never really thought of this before but Dubas put an emphasis on high skill and high IQ, and Brad seems to be putting an emphasis on high skill and toughness, not sure that meshes when you have guys expecting to play a certain type of style because of high hockey IQ and they are paired up with low IQ guys.

As fully expected, the Sabres took last night off to save all their energy to play our Leafs.

Our Leafs actually looked like the team that played last night.

Hat tricks mean nothing when your team still loses the game.

Our Leafs are in trouble as I see it. No secondary scoring, and certainly NO DEFENSE including stable goaltending.

I'd rather have Holl back than keep Klingberg. He is just as useless for more money off of our cap.

Can MLSE please step in and FIRE Shanahan. Treliving is worse with his secondary acquisitions. Our Leafs are now Calgary east IMHO.

This clown is the reason we are such a mess right now. I’m not happy with what Tre has done but he only had a month or so to try and fix the mess Dubas left behind.
Dubas had 5 years and only accomplished 1 single round win

We aren't contenders with this defense. Once again we are too top heavy. All our goals came from Matthew's or Marner. Buffalo had 5 guys score tonight. Same issues that have plagued this team just show themselves again and again. It's hard to watch this team when I already know the ending.

The guy didn't win a single thing here. Not 1 presidents trophy, not 1 Atlantic division title, not even 1 long playoff run.

Listen he did some things well and so far Treliving has been very underwhelming but to act like Dubas was some kind of wizard is crazy.
