I think the core 4 need a shakeup. As in they would like something different as well.
Probably too stale now. Same core 4. All same styles.
A shakeup was needed this season...We all knew it.
Dubas deserved to be fired, but to add insult to injury, he left at the worst time as well.
Hes tried both Knies and Domi with Holmberg and then each with Nylander and JT over the past few games

Kampf should be playing 4C IMO
they should have the three 11 AAV guys on 3 different lines
Knies-Matthews-Jankrok
Domi-Nylander-Marner
Bertuzzi-Tavares-Holmberg
Gregor-Kampf-Reaves
They should make Nylander play center; if not then put Domi at center especially at home when you have the last change

gotta give them time not just a few shifts here or there. as a coach its his responsibility to get the guys prepped and help guys get a move on who are not performing up to expectations
He had 20 million in cap space to do whstever he wanted with.
He could have traded Marner, Matthews or Nylander before July 1.
If the league wide perception is the Leafs are soft and get bullied and pushed around and you can't win with 4 players making 50% of the cap then I am sure Brad had heard all of that.
Why we he need to see upclose?
I am almost positive that the Gregor - Kampf - Reaves line has been scored on in every game they have played together... that is the main reason Kampf is not 4C and we can't spread out the talent.
They played together for 4 mins tonight and got scored on.

Does keeping players and re-signing them make them your guys or not? This is confusing to me. Or is it only drafting them?
Will Matthews' be a Treliving guy cause he re-signed him? The GM always has options to move guys, so it just seems weird that a GM decided they want the player on their team but he is not their guy.
