It really feels like the Leafs are going to take a big step backwards this year.

With the horrible defence and lack of scoring depth, this team is average at best
Giving away assets for 4 of 5 years with nothing to show eventually catches up to you. You do not build a winner on July 1st and the TDL.

Can Toronto and Edmonton combine teams? Both have depth issues and defensive issues this can solve both of them. Give us a 200m cap to work with too

Well, look for positives, boys, Keefe will be gone in a while with such wonderful performances. Or the same was said last year and year before, and so on?

Been really disappointed with Domi and getting more disappointed with Bertuzzi .. Bert looked better with Matthews/Marner even when he wasn’t scoring.

Domi just looks like he has no chemistry going.. then again Kampf is a play hole offensively so that can’t be easy.

Klingberg is stealing money. What does this guy bring out there? When Timmins, McCabe and Lily are back this guy better be gone or enjoy many nights like tonight.

Sigh what a frustrating game. Such horrendous defensive coverage all game. Consistently outworked all game. I hope they get it together because this thinking that playoffs are a lock could bite us in the axx right quick.

I find it strange that Bertuzzi had no issues instantly clicking with the Bruins last year but he looks like an AHLer here so far.

I also like how freaking Shattenkirk is fitting in nicely with the Bruins this year. Seems like they can insert anyone and still have success while it's hit or miss here.

I really think it has more to do with team culture. Bruins have a pack mentality. Its one for all and all for one. For them they don't ask new comers or anyone else to do anything that their "stars" are not doing. Bergeron was that leader and he left a mark on that team IMO.

Our core players and coaching staff have to be welcoming of the new players to get them going. Domi played fairly well for Dallas too especially in the playoffs.

I am pretty sure Keefe would have had a say in Tre bringing in players; its not Tre said; here are the players coach them.

Keefe has to take some responsibility here. Our defensive structure too is pretty bad.

Can someone tell me why players who are not performing aren't rotated in and out of the press box? Used to be a normal thing, and it worked well.

Core and culture I agree with, but if we are talking about on ice additions, Brad has failed.

That’s what happens when Kyle Dumbas uses up all your cap space on undeserved contracts and trades away all your draft picks for deadline additions that win one round in 7 years. You have to sign garbage to fill out your roster and you have no room for trades.

The additions have been shit and pizza boy wasn’t my first choice for GM by far. But Dumbas walked into a golden goose of a situation in 2018 and completely f***ed this team up from top to bottom. Take a good hard look at how his Pens are doing if you want to see another master class on dog shit team structure.

Maybe we should swap Max Domi and have Tie suit up in his place.

At least Tie would bring more value.
