As much as ppl talk about Hyman being overpaid, his AAV is close to $1 mil lower than Ritchie + Mrazek. I’d rather have Hyman.

Things were looking kind of promising in preseason with the new additions but have misfired badly going into the early season.

McDavid has truly separated from everyone else right now. Barring injury we are looking at the best single season in points since Mario. Hyman will be a lock for 35 goals playing with McDavid all season.

Obviously wish him the best, he's an easy guy to cheer for.

At this rate, Hyman will be on TC over JT and MM.

Funny how Hyman can score with McD but could not score at this pace with Marner and AM.

He is in a tough position, he needs his top players to play well but if he benches them and the team continues to struggle, it will be worse.

Personally, I would shelter their mins and hope they deliver

maybe it's time to put the onus on the players? im so sick of blaming the coach for the players not executing...Keefe does the work...heck other teams like how hard he works...at some point you've got to call a spade a spade and put the onus on the spoiled brats in uniform

Possibly. That doesn't mean putting Marner on the third line though I doubt. It would maybe be switching Nylander and Marner I would assume.

marners basically best years in terms of performance (not point totals) was on the 3rd with JVR and Bozak...move the little sht down he wants 10+ mil...drive your own line

I agree with you and I had been saying since we lost in May. It is the players who needs to be accountable.
What I am trying to say is that Keefe is in a tough spot, unless the higher ups said, screw the season and play the right way but pretty sure the higher ups is win now as we need playoffs revenue.

uhh TML is rich AF...if anyone could do that it would be them...it would take fans staying away from the ACC though and not enough leaf fans care enough about the team to set themselves out of some "precious" tickets same as the corporate sponsors...the sushi team if you will...can't stand them

Honestly, I think splitting the guys up will help them in the long run rather than letting play together.

Bunting-AM-Spezza
Ritchie-JT-Marner
Simmonds-AK-Willie
Engvall-Kampf-Kase
Is not better than what they are doing now.
Put Spezza with AM

Hyman's 2nd goal was a one timer from McJesus pass. I've never seen Hyman take a one timer on the Leafs EVER!
