That Rantanen trade has been an absolute masterstroke by Dallas that could secure them a Stanley Cup final appearance.

It's fun to clown on the Canes but I'd definitely rather be the team that's made it to the playoffs seven straight years and has made it past round 1 each time except that BS bubble playoff year.

I was being kinda facetious, and of course we'd rather be watching the Flyers in the playoffs each year. Heartbreak factor goes up by 1000 though.

I forget what that's like. The last time they were a legitimate playoff team was the 2010-2012 window.
