It's horrible. This fan base can be absolutely horrible and at times it's embarrassing to say I'm a Leafs fan. It's like the expectation is to never lose and if we do the sky is falling. Yes it's been a less than idea start, but that happens. There's a reason the season is 82 games and not 5. It's ok to accept a loss and move on to the next game.

For some context Tampa's 2020 cup team started the year with 5 points in 5 games.

Maple leafs are selling half packs online now cause they are desperate to fill the seats. This is how things change stop going to games stop buying merch and expect better. Your time, money, stress and loyalty is worth more then the effort and results given the past few years.

Leafs got exactly what they deserved. Played a very stingy SJ team in the first that didn’t give up much. Leafs remained patient until they were forced to be inpatient due to Hutchinson’s inability to make a save. Really that simple.

goal 1 and 2 cannot go in, we were chasing a game we should not have been chasing thereafter.

sure the big guys let us down again, but this loss is on Keefe IMO. He was looking ahead to today’s game when he should have just dressed his best lineup. Anyone who has played hockey at any level can tell you just how demoralizing watching your tendy f*** shit up for your team. Hutch did that early on, and it forced the leafs to play a game that they couldn’t afford to play.
