I beg to differ. Defense is the thing that can be taught, goal scoring not so much. Our team D sucks and I put that on coaching just like it was coaching the past few years that made our team D pretty good. I know Keefe has been there for both scenarios so what's the difference this year? Justin Holl? I seriously doubt that. Sure it starts with the goaltending and the crap goaltending affects our overall play and confidence. But seemingly having no plan to move a puck out of our zone falls on coaching.

Just my worthless opinion among everyone else's worthless opinion
 
Missed the game, not surprised with the result. On par with this team.

Happy with what Rielly did. I mean the crosscheck was dumb but the zero tolerance on that classless act was warranted.

You wonder why players and fans hate the Leafs media. Guys like Mirtle, Button, and Siegel complain all year the leafs don't stand up and are soft. Punk Rook took a clapper into an empty net 6 inches away and he found out the hard way you don't pull that shit in the NHL.

Now those guys are saying over the top and never should have done that. Can't have it both ways.

Good on Reilly our true captain for taking matters into his own hands. No problem with that suspension and maybe it's a rallying cry for this team.

Us against the world should be the team motto but will never happen with corporate MLSE.

Take a fine Keefe call out the shit.

It's funny how different peoples perspective can be of the same thing.

As a Leafs fan, I would argue SportsNet's coverage of the Leafs is terribly biased against them. Sure, they talk about them a lot to get the advertising eyes and ears, but none of them are fans of the Leafs, like even remotely... especially the pbp team.

As far as I am concerned, whiners like that can go f*** themselves. What Greig did was classless, what Rielly did was simply a response to the classless act. Someone tries to embarass you, you have two options... do nothing, do something. Something is ALWAYS the right answer (within reason, which this was imo).

Not much more to say about this group. We just aren’t a very good team and as long as we have these 4 guys eating the lions share of the cap this is what we are. This core does not know how to win, the president doesn’t know how to president and the GM doesn’t know how to GM
It’s a freakin disgrace that 2 relatively new expansion teams are better then us

I think Mo just saved our season. Pat Quinn would use this moment to galvanize his group... Us vs the World Mentality. If Keefe can do the same... Nobody will stop us.

For real, the incoming Mo suspension better be a f***ing cattle prod to the half the team that has been sleep walking through this entire season. Probably won't be, but it should.
