Pretty much everyone who watched the the game against Dallas called this loss

Leafs will win against Dallas, which they did and Lose against Sens which they did.
This team always finds a way to play down to their opponent. They just can't seem to elevate their game

They are so stupid, they don't realize these are the games you pad your stats on. Pile up the points and make your contracts look not terrible. Bertuzzi is the worst hockey player I have ever seen, doesn't do anything except skate around like a chicken with its head cut off.

There is no doubt this should be a suspension. But it is a good suspension and the message is clear. We(Leafs) don’t take crap from anyone.
Now the rest of the team needs to back it up.

Andreson got 4 games for hit on Laine's head in dying seconds. Rielly's hit was after the play was dead. Who knows what DOPs gives him. Could be nothing or a few K up to the rest of the season and playoffs. LOL

I could live with 2-3. I just got done talking to my buddy about how I don't consider Reilz a top pairing D-Man but it's impossible not to like him.

Man, it's not even really the fact they lost... it's how terrible they look in doing it.

The giveaways and lack of defensive effort and structure are horrifying to watch as a fan.

Even when they win we still see it most times.

Again, if I am Tre I am not brining in anyone unless it is a swap to move Bertuzzi out bring in a body or two just for the rest of the season.

This is not fixable this season or this summer. It will have to be a piece of work to set the team up for success for the 25-26 season. Obviously you try to win, but you do it with what you have.

I thought this was going to be last season to be honest... but we all knew it was coming at one point.

My question is, how far down the standings to they have to fall this season before Keefe gets the axe?

Everyone knew last season was the last big push for a while. That's why we went after so many rentals.

Then we miss the playoffs. Playoffs is really at most 7 more games. Who cares? Making playoffs is not a huge accomplishment at this point for this current core.
Cup or bust should be their goal at this point of the core.

Funny what the refs setting a precedent can do to the control of the game. Accepting sticks to the head in front of them leading to a goal. Ignoring every penalty from the Sens the whole game. I've seen this show a million times.
